So I played through the beta lol

Also, the politics... yeesh. Even when I agree with the point, it still comes off as pretty cringey. A little more subtlty would have gone a long way.

After seeing how much the writing is talked up in the thread, it's unfortunate that that's the weakest link in v18.

You can skip most of the bugs. But they keep coming very frequently after playing a while. The only thing really sucking is that you need to avoid to upgrade the garden. That is the only thing I have found so far, making it impossible to just ignore the errors.
But the garden becomes a requirement for progression and that´s where the story gets stuck.

The problem is that those bugs are only going to get worse as you play, even after the full version comes out. You may not see the problem until much later, but it will cause you problems down the line.

If you are the kind of person who starts over every update, then you may not have an issue with it, but if you plan to keep these saves...

thanks for the reply! I've been up to date and just saw there was an update so I figured I'd make my first post because of the story and sandbox aspect to the game.

There is nothing else to download here than the beta. The download on itch.io keeps failing. Shortly to the end after 30 minutes. Not much fun to try. I gave up there for now. Three times failed and not even possible to continue the download where it stopped.

why do i keep getting this traceback when i load a save file ?
i mean its no big deal really i just ignore it and my save loads up :unsure:
but it happens everytime i try to load a save file :(

i got something i wanna say tho ... why the hell does Runey make it seem like Ellen has any authority over the hotel or the people in it ... i mean i always thought it was the MC in charge ... but the offer for Lin . and Ellen answering ... makes it seem as tho she is the boss ... :mad:

That's Because 1. She was in love with Gramps. 2 She has been at the hotel over 14 years. 3 She was put in charge while Gramps worked on Android. ;)

Besides I like a bossy MILF Don't you?

but she was not given the hotel the MC was .. which makes him the owner and boss .. even boss to Ellen
