i also am having this issue.. the game does not even load.. it just pops this... i am guessing its because its 2 different versions of the game and mod... but iirc i have used Lain´s mod on other games with mismatched version and never had problems at all... but i already saw some one post that it happened with them... i am guessing since this is a 12gb game the probabilities of the mod breaking the game is higher than other games... so i would guess just deleting the files from the mod would work... i also need to try this to see if it indeed fixes the game

EDIT: deleting the files from the mod did indeed fixed the issue.. at least it actually opened the game

He likely used a save editor, that he referred to in a previous post to change a setting in the save files.
Save editors are normally a bad idea to use on Harem Hotel save files, because events are triggered by stat levels.
Change any of those stats from 1 to 10, and you will break the game and possibly miss up to 8 events.

Yes, I am aware that events are triggered that way and the related risks.

The fact that beta saves don't work with the official release - in my limited understanding - are not due to the value of a variable but rather to the serialized object having different structure (some missing property and/or some added properties) between the save file and the version one is trying to use them with, so the federalization process fails (or if it succeeds, it will cause a crash once a particular object is accessed and it doesn't have the expected structure).

I was asking for insights about what has to be changed in the save file from 0.18 beta to make it compatible with 0.18 official.

nope. it is kinda like a sandbox, without actually being a sandbox.

Ata stand still with the garden, been waiting over an in-game week. Cleared the land out, didn't buy seeds for it yet (since I guess I don't have that unlocked?) and putting the greenhouse in, but it hasn't reopened.

Guessing I missed something along the way when it comes to Jin.

Ata stand still with the garden, been waiting over an in-game week. Cleared the land out, didn't buy seeds for it yet (since I guess I don't have that unlocked?) and putting the greenhouse in, but it hasn't reopened.

Guessing I missed something along the way when it comes to Jin.

you have to explore the city until you get the park opened, then visit that until you can buy seeds and tools there. after that plant something in the garden and tend to the crops for a while. am i missing anything?

If you mean getting Jin to move onto the garden, you have to do her events. Honestly, on a brand new save, was prolly the last events that unlocked for me. I was making regular trips to Lin's room trying to "force" things along and eventually it just happened. I'm not sure if her events are on the same timer as the other girls, but there's not much feedback on when to go visit her.

Yeah I've been through Caliber several times. I have everything unlocked minus the '?' in each of the three areas. I'll keep at it

i think you are taken to the park the first time via the bowling bar, which will later appear on the bottom of the residential district.

Need to visit Eris in the bowling alley first. After 2-3 events in the city with her, she'll take you to the park to unlock it. Then it'll show up on the second page of exploration.

Now just to get Jin in charge of the thing. Just upgraded to what I'm assuming are the final garden beds for the elf plants. Guessing that's where Jin comes in.
