You realise that it version number doesn't go from 0.01 to 1.0, right? For all we know, Runey could hit V0.2 and that's the natural end to the story.

Yeah, I get that. I was around here four years ago under a different name, I know how things go, no need to educate me. Doesn't change the fact that most of us here will be above middle age before this game gets closed to finish. I'll be in an old age home or dead. Have fun waiting another 10+ years or so for this to game to finish. I have better things to do than to wait for my death while waiting for this game.

In the first page of the thread, in the top right corner is an option to ignore this thread.

I am only posting this, since you seem to have given up on the game, and based on what you said, no longer want to bother with it.

Hopefully, then Runey won't go from 0.99 to 0.100, that would, of course mean 1000 update for a full game - or as an alternative make a 1.01 release.
Don't say that they are not decimals, I've learned that here, along with what harem, NTR, how to make a good game, why I should, as a dev, listen to 2 loud zoners instead of my paying customers... - I could go on.
And others are toodler or midle age or old age... ...Runey could abord the game tomorrow for reasons (purely hypothetical)... ...WWIII could happen and we would be back a stone and spear if we are lucky or unlucky...
Game is not finished and we simple don't know when it will be.

The government in the country where Harem Hotel takes place is racist.
In their eyes a half elf is still an elf, but a quarter elf is more human than elf, and they get a pass to live freely.

Because half-elves fit in that line where they don't count as either human or elf.
The wording of such protections tend to be quite specific, that specific nature means that there actually can be a grey area. For example, a line might say "Those who possess an elven slave cannot punish said slave to such an extent that they require hospitalisation." There's nothing in there about half-elves or humans. And seeing how humans can't be made a slave, you can see where people can interpret those protections and decide that half-elves don't count.
I just got the LainsMod installed and I am having trouble getting the save game zip file from on online session of the game to work on PC. Any tips?

Check the LainsMod section and see if anyone has encountered your error. Other than common bugs from the base game that discussed, unless someone specifically brings up LainMod bugs here, there isn't a lot of collective knowledge about the mod and what it might have touched/broken

Is it just me, or do I feel like the story isn't as good as many of the reviews are making it? I was invested when the introduction started, but once I got into the game, its just a small side mission game-ish kinda feel. You just interact with the people renting a room and thats pretty much it. I finished exploring the city, I got a bit further into each of the starting characters "story". Is this like a game where the story gets increasingly good as you progress?
I was avoiding this game for years thinking it was something different but finally picked it up. It's everything I enjoy and I can't tell how far I am into the story. I probably have put a good 15 hours into it and don't see a clear end in sight.
I ran out of city scenes long ago, curious if the goth girl I met early on makes an appearance later or if she's in development still. All but 1 room is filled right now and I have not taken on the mayor yet just waiting.

Since she has not worked on it in a while, I would suggest not using it.

Eris is still a new character, her story will continue later.
The last room will get an occupant in several more updates, if things stick to the timeline we saw a year or two ago.
