Gifts are only needed when a character is below 0 Affection.

You should be able to click on Kali's door, and a "Talk" option will appear. That's a part of the Android's events.

I thought I needed to do it when checking her door said the bit about Kali's room. Thanks.

It does indeed. The patch notes state how many new storyline events were added for each character. Her current max friendship is 23.

Ah, finally I completed the 0.3. Obviously my favorite character is Lin, all girls are well-written and show strong characters but I especially love Lin's innocence and somewhat purity. I am curious where dev is going to take Felicity and Emma though.

Undressing the Android in the kitchen shouldn't increase her friendship. Does it? I'm asking because there is apparently a bug that increases character's friendship outside of story events.
