You've made a little misunderstanding in how that calculation is presented.First up, there are too many exclamation marks for comfort And second, 220+10 is not 260. Also, did I spend $250 to earn $10 (or $40) extra? Seems a waste.
The first quantity of $220 is the money you made from your bar. The second quantity of $260 is the total money you made as a result of your advertisement; you spent $250, and made $260, for a total profit of $10, which is pretty negligible.
Or, to put it another way, the amount of money you make each week is the combination of those two figures, which in this case is $220 + $260 = $480. Remember that you paid the advertisement money the previous week, so it was deduced from your available funds seven days earlier.
