This game is pretty good for an asset flip. I am pleasantly surprised.
What other games use much of anything from HH? The MC is pretty standard, but that's no big deal. All of the girls are unique to the game from anything I've ever seen. Beyond that, Runey has a very distinctive style with the girls as well. They all look like they belong in this universe.

Most of the recent updates aren't about the girls, advancing the story, or anything lewd. It's 80% social commentary from the perspective of a twitter activist who went to a BLM rally one time during 2020. The recent update had a group of cops ready to gun down a group of young women for looking at them wrong, the only reason they stopped is because the chief of police had his daughter there. Shit's cringe and ridiculous.
I love how people are mad about a game that has as one of it's messages "Slavery is bad". I wonder what that says about these people, not that I would like to imply anything.
Also, about your "cops ready to shoot a bunch of young women point". "Cringe and ridiculous" lmao, like it would never happen in real life. It is not like cops use excessive force constantly or anything, right? It is not like we have documented history about cops shooting into civilian crowds with both lethal and non-lethal methods all over the fucking world, right? It is all a big insane delusion that would only happen in a game.

I don't tend to judge people on their fetishes, I am on a porn game website, after all. People are allowed to lick whatever they want, some like a popsicle, some like a dick, but I will never understand why people like so much to lick the boots of cops. I mean, if it gets you off, good for you, I guess, but you don't need to get all anger when people don't depict cops as angels of morals and law, because, you know, that wouldn't be a very realistic depiction. If you want copaganda go watch a cop show or some shit.

There are multiple story threads in this game, all of which seems to heading toward the same point. I assume you are trolling, because the stories are all interconnected, and the only way to miss that is to be holding down the control key during all the dialog.
Half of the last update reads like someone's blue haired aunt on a twitter rant. I'd like less of that and more of a continuation of the actual storyline of the main girls.

You're arguing with a strawman. No one said slavery was anything but bad, yet youre here defending caricatures so out of touch they own a penthouse in L.A.

Harem Hotel is not about hooking up with the girls and creating a Harem.
It has a story, and that story is about freeing the elves (and the soon to be sentient androids) and also taking down the government.
All of the stuff with the girls is simply a part of that larger story.

So, get used to the idea of there being releases that focus more on the visual novel story involving freeing the elves and androids, and less on the dating aspect.
Everyone may be a bit too busy with the main story to have much time for dating.
Although, there will likely still be some dating, but there is a bigger story unfolding...

And I'd like to see you actually post with real criticism and feedback to support it than whatever garbage this post is. For regulars, there isn't a single person who wouldn't make the effort to engage in meaningful conversation if you actually put an effort in.

Hint: this post doesn't try. Make an effort.

Lin is out of touch with reality (the primary person responsible for many of the current events). A point that is repeatedly shown throughout her story. She's naive, but this whole storyline is also about her eventual growth and hopefully understanding/coming to terms.

There are three, maybe four, things that are important to her: getting sex from MC(important to her self esteem/self-value) / saving elves / her sister. The nuance of the every day struggle / "whatever" of other people is something she doesn't really "understand" but kinda presumes she does. She's spent a good chunk of her life as a highly taken care of, secluded, slave who wasn't abused. She hit the lottery when being purchased by the MC's grandfather.

To be fair, the description on the front page doesn't really warn you for the content of the story. Like we so often repeat - "came for the porn, stayed for the story" but little of that notion is actually presented on the front page. I feel your warning isn't going to be appreciated by them.

That is true, it does not, but the concept is brought out pretty early, in game, and builds from there.

Not every story/game on F95 is focused on sex and building harems.
Some have a plot and a story that go far beyond sex, so people need to learn to understand that.

I fear your own politics are getting in the way of enjoying the story.

There are multiple stories here that represent various paths to try to change the system.

Vanessa represents an ally of the oppressed class, willing to fight the system with non-violence on behalf of those who would face death for the same protest if they were part of the oppressed class. Lin represents a member of the oppressed class fighting back with non-violence and by trying to show the greater society why they should not be looked down on and wants to change the whole society. Nia is a member of the oppressed class willing to use violence, but still works within the confines of the system, by saving others from the worst parts but not focussing on overthrowing the whole system. Lin and Vanessa think they can fight the system and win the war, Nia thinks you can only win selected battles because the war was won by the oppressors a long time ago.

Kali represents the technocratic approach. By signing on to build the elfbot, she is hoping to provide a safer way for elves to survive. They won't be slaves, but they will still be needed. Maria is there to fight for the rights of the half elves, who have no protections in the system at all and can be legally subjected to abuses that elves can't be. She just wants the rights she had before her DNA relegated her to a non-entity in society. Autumn represents the religious approach. Her church doesn't walk the walk, it is just talk, and while they don't approve of slavery, they don't see elves as equals, but Autumn herself is beginning to see that they are. Android represents a true AI, one that could be the answer to the problems or a true destroyer of worlds.

Vanessa is a continuation of the story of the main girls because she is part of the fight for change. Even Moon has the potential to be a key part of the story

There are hints about the role the twins will play too. The over-arching story is the game.
