It’s good writing, no doubt! But it’s something I simply don’t fancy. If I want to see religious nutjobs doing horrible stuff and trying to force others to follow their misguided and misinterpreted believes I turn on the TV :/

I don’t feel this epiphany hit hard so far - finished the Autumn story line in the last release, am I missing some content?

With Harem Hotel it is very important to do all of the story lines and not focus on individual stories.
If you focus on one character to complete all of their content, it can screw up the time lines and cause issues with events.

With that said, I can understand not being into the specific aspects of the story, like the religious, anti slaver, or anti government content.
But it is all part of the story to bring an end to corrupt leaders and cruel laws in that country, and since the corruption is so deeply engrained into their society, it goes deeply into all of those places.
The only way to strip the government of power, is to also take down the corrupt religious leaders, who support the government.
And the only way to free the elves, is to take down the church that preaches elven slavery, and the government that supports that slavery with its laws...
They are all interconnected, and all must be dealt with to achieve their final goal...

It's all of the update 17.0, plus the bug fixes.
With Harem Hotel the first two digits are the release number, and any numbers changed after the initial release, after the decimal point is the update, plus bug fixes.
17.0 Update.
17.1 update with bug fixes to fix bugs found in the release.
If no bugs were experienced by you with 17.0, there is no need to download 17.2.

Love route of course.
What's the point of trying to help the elves and then enslaving them yourself.
Makes zero sense.

Love route, because I think in the end it may have the best outcome.
When the revolution comes, I do not want them looking at me as a well intentioned slaver, but as someone who loved them for who they were.

depends on the story. It seems like you just get more content if you choose love, vs. chick just being in the kitchen with scenes. I wouldn't mind trying some slave routes if they had as much progression as the main route. It depends on how sexy it is. Like in Four Elements Trainer where the slave routes are perfectly viable except for the last chapter, and even had a different storyline.

AGREE it’s GOING to be best to be on the love route.

That being said … currently there is more fun scenes on the slave route.
Not to mention that it’s horribly hypocritical to go slave route as mentioned by Uthuriel.

My solution was to do almost everything else regarding everyone while not progressing past that decision point for Nia & Sylvia.
Then save the game … and then play both routes love & slave on their own individual saves.

Love route is “canon” route. Eventually it will be much more robust and have the superior content (supposedly)

But Sylvia DEFINITELY deserves some discipline so until the love route presents a way to smooth her broken & rough edges. Ill probably always have a save with her as a slave
