Is is not true. It is possible to make the images layered to only switch out the part that needed change, wouldn't be new scenese then though.
But most devs either don't know, don't want or cant do that.
It will be the end of each character's story, not necessarily end game. We will see what that means when it happens.
There are very few examples of that in this game, most of the scenes are full renders, and trying to layer that in would look bad, unless you chop up full renders, which would increase the work even more than just adding it to start with. It's not that we don't know how to do it, it's just that unless you are doing 2D, it's not worth the effort.

I wasn't talking about your or your game in particular just saying that its possible in general without increasing the file size by 100%

This is not true for THIS GAME. For which this thread is about. In this game each image is rendered individually and not layered (mostly). This takes long enough that people bitch and moan about how long releases take and how much content there is. The process you describe is vastly more complicated, both in terms of code required and effort to create the scenes, not to mention the writing required to handle all possibilities. It's not even an issue of don't want to or can't. It's just stupid to waste time on.
If pregnancy were added earlier, every scene would have to have multiple images for multiple characters that are either pregnant or not... so we're not even talking double the images for all these scenes, there could be dozens of different versions.
My comment was specific to Harem Hotel, so "well actually" mansplaining that in all theoretical universes in all theoretical games there are more ways to do it than this is pointless pedantry that doesn't apply.
I know, I wasn't really talking about my game either, but this one primarily, and games generally.
2D games can get away with that pretty nicely, but 3D games like this one (and mine), would really struggle to make it look good. About the only one who did that well was Love of Magic, but it is not as if you can't tell that they are layered in, but they animated them, and built it like a 2D game.
Point is, that it would really change the look of the game, and be a lot of work for Runey to implement, and seems unlikely.
Runey said that they will get the option at the end of each girl's story. That is really all that matters, I guess. lol

Things are starting to get close, but I wouldn't expect an ending any time too soon. Though things are getting closer, we can see the ending starting to form.

How far is Autumn's content? I remember she was my favorite in terms of design but she had like two nsfw scenes in the hotel.
You can do a lot with her now, just not vaginal or anal sex. Blow jobs, boob jobs, and a bunch of exhibitionism stuff, her scenes there are the most complex of anyone.
