Glad to see our hero join the discussion. Single person development is really hard(sometimes easier tho since there is no annoying co-worker who always comes with different ideas). these 8 amazing stories in a single game is already stunning. In my experience, graphtreon undervalues creators pages by quite a lot, your estimation is even more off. One factor they don't seem to account for is pay up front charges, which are from those people who pledge then immediately unpledge, which does not add to the patron or $ money count on the site.
I'm only one person though, so I do everything myself aside from getting community help from time to time. People have offered their services for writing, modeling, or animation but it's not something I'm able to accept. Writers typically don't have my same vision or dedication to find all the nuances written in the story, nor would they likely have my background and thus motivation to write the things I do, and modeling or animation is very easy for me. My only bottle neck is coming up with story, but I've seemed to be able to balance 8 consecutive story lines so far. I don't want to work on another at the moment because I would spread myself too thin. I could hire someone to do it for me, but I don't think they would be able to do it well enough. I also take time off to recover the creative side of my brain, which I believe is one thing keeping me from getting burnt out. This is very much creative work, and you can't force creativity.
I have lore in my head that none of you will likely ever see going back hundreds of thousands of years and forwards the same amount of time (this doesn't mean I have every detail planned), a past and a future help define the present in a story. I have solid plans for what a potential story for HH2 would be. The only problem with an HH2 is that no matter what, it would have to focus less on the characters and more on the world. You already find out most about the characters, develop a relationship with them, and grow in this game, so if another were to be developed, it would be about a defined goal all of the characters use their unique skills to overcome.
May have to split these games into parts though, because renpy has size limits.
I also like the exhibition and the dungeon scenes since I'm the ultimate pervert, but isn't it slightly off the topic and has no interaction with the main part of the game(love route). are you still planning on working on them, or you are just not a fan of exhibitionism or BDSM, didn't plan on it, and dont know/want to write that kind of storylines, but add them anyway because dedicators ask for it? (maybe just abandon them or stop further development so the whole game can be better? or dig them a bit further to make interaction?)
and what kinda lore will it be? pervert things or serious things(wars/revolution/manumission) or both? you know, a game's influence sometimes depending on how it gives player expectation. Targeted marketing isn't just for money but also helps planned development.
yeah, i didn't say HH2 tho, i was talking about HH:R,HH:E,HH:Final dance(TV shows can have same characters in many seasons), or just start limiting the numbers of characters by now? something like this. but I also wonder what means more to you, the world, or the characters? I saw your hard work on building this entire world setting. Did you consider also make different games in the same world? So it can still use the world setting, and can also create new characters and stories without considering how to deal with old ones.
At least, for me, personally, the thing that attracts me is not these characters or world, it's you the creator. As long as your games keep the same style, a HH2, or HH3, or even SS1 can attract players too. (they may need to stay in the same world setting since you have already kinda implanted the world setting into fans' mind, most players refuse to change world setting more than change character, one of the best things in this game is you keep the main character under camouflage, so players won't resist that much about changing MC). Some new characters can even be related to old ones(co-worker, android in the same production line, classmate). You must have a more interesting character idea, and I'm sure many players can wait to see them in this game, but my suggestion would be, give them some fermentation, make them a proper story, and put them into another game. you know, quality over quantity.
However, of course, if you are a superman that can make everything perfect, then just ignore my suggestions. (You have already been quite superman to me, I'm also a software developer and musician, but i can never make a porn game like that.)
