I'm kinda confused here with what you're trying to say. You worded it as if the game was missing all these things (voyeurism, 3d, male protagonist , cosplay, sandbox, corruption), despite the fact that it just straight up doesn't? Which is exactly what the other poster pointed out, reading your post again (and specifically that highlighted part) doesn't make what you said any more sensical.

This is a case where usage of simple grammar would have helped a lot. This is what it should look like:
"but when I played it I realized that it was not what was expected and that it was missing. Voyeurism, 3d, male protagonist , cosplay, sandbox, corruption (practically all categories except for the harem and slave) and especially the animation seemed quite normal or mediocre to me for those 5 review stars."

Staring a new sentence helps.

Very good game in my opinion, one the best if not the best of the category as you can find pretty much everything you want and the different characters are really well detailed.

All of the girls have different personalities and getting to know each one of them is very interesting.

To me the only weak side of the game is the gallery mode, I feel like I can't watch again a lot of scenes, for example the one in the pool with Kali and Android : I can't unlock one part as Kali does not have enough exhibition but I can't access the scene later in the game (or i'm missing something), feeling like the scene is kinda lost and I don't feel like going through 200+ days just for this scene.

The scenes with Autumn are also pretty great and I can't find them all in the Gallery.

Except this part, the game is incredible, having played pretty much all of the famous ones of the last years, this one is by far my favorite,

First time writing a post on this website, but I have to say this is the best Visual Novel i've played on here. One of the biggest drawbacks for me when it comes to VN's they usually tend to be insanely grindy, having to progress day after day without any significant interaction. Oh man first time I'd actually taken an interest in the characters, Ashley and Lin are by far my favorite. The backstory for Ashley moved me to tears. Please continue the excellent work I'll definitely be supporting you in the future!! 11/10

IIRC, many of the early scenes have been changed/updated by v0.9.2, so you may wish to just start a new game with that version. As a word of advice, don't download the [leaked] v0.10 Beta because that is a pre-release test build, so is incomplete and may have game-breaking bugs in it.

Just noticed that they released Honey Select 2 here... Wonder if we can transfer the cards, and how many devs making games like this will be making the switch.

I expect none. It will take years upon years for HS2 to catch up with HS1 with mods, and that's assuming people like HS2 enough to port everything over and use those mods. And mods are the only reason we can do so much of our work. Both technical and object/map mods.

I expect a few new devs to start working on a HS2 game, but I strongly recommend against it as it just offers so much less than HS1, and will for a very long time, possibly never catching up.

HS2 is just HS1 with better graphics, maybe a few new animations and maps, so I don't even expect HS2 to be successful. In fact I would sooner expect all the new HS2 stuff to be ported to HS1 (if that's even a possibility).

Just saw some screenshots from HS2. i feel like it's the same as AI, but without that "story" if i can say that. Anyway hope you're ok 'cuz you know, there's a pandeminc going on. Any ideea when the new update will be ready?

I tend to think that it would depend on how many devs are willing to risk certain problems from reappearing should they switch.

That's hilarious, though it's probably some form of Royalty Free Music; perhaps done by Kevin MacLeod, as he's one of the larger royalty free music creators iirc.

If you're talking about the generic background music you hear in the game, it's called "Easy Lemon." There's a list of music with links in the "Info" tab in the Menu.
