Personally, I'd like to see the person you're sleeping with react to your 'alarm'. Since there are only two 'alarm' characters, this would be much more feasible.
It would not be so bad if it was just the linked person, like Kali + Luci, Lin + Jin, the twins, etc.

Changing it won' fix it, that save is broken.
Editing friendship values breaks the game. The only "safe" thing you can alter is money. Everything else occasionally has events tied to them so altering them skips events which means things connected can't trigger whcih is why your save is now broken.
Only way to fix it would be to either start again or roll back to an earlier save before you altered the values.
I know people don't like "grind" and want to cheat to save time but there isn't really much grind here.
The same way you broke it, change the friendship values to what they were exactly, or load a save.
