I think it would be better to give the player a choice which path to take, rather than impose it on him.

I do believe in choices and consequences so I agree, the dev should make that optional.

BUT if you choose to opt out of that scene you should lose the ability to free the Elves as you wouldn't meet any of the others and start down that path.

Remember that event sets the MC on the path to freeing ALL Elves so not doing it should remove the chance to do that.

It's probably also why the dev didn't make it optional, too much of the story relies on it.

If revised he could always have a route where all the MC can do is run his hotel and not have anything to do with other Elves.

So I can't see why anyone would use such a strong word as Disgusting with those events!.
At most you could call it distaste full IF you don't like those kinds of scenes but that's about it!.

But then I'm the kind of guy who reserves certain words for rare occasions.
Strong words like Disgusting and beautiful I have used rarely and even stronger words like Gorgeous, Which I still haven't ever used!.
I've yet to see a woman I'd consider Gorgeous, But then they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I also have the exceptionally high standards of a _____opath (Fill in the blank), But then that tends to happen when your the only sane person in an insane world!.

I do find those scenes rather disjoint for some of the characters (Lin included, and even the final Kali scene feels like taking things too far), but, just like the Cromwell setup, it's simply the opposite of "my thing." Maybe I'm missing something others with greater tolerance (much less appreciation) see that make the scenes more integral parts of each character's personality.

I still wouldn't use such subjective labels as "disgusting" on them, but at least I can comprehend the reason of the objection.

You need to GTA a suitable DeLorean and visit the western parts of the Eastern bloc in the 80s-90s. Don't know about nowadays, but back then... oof. Also, heard Iceland is very pretty every time of the year and century.

I went though hers mostly to get the points, but her event's don't turn me on enough to put her through that, though I did like to see her being more 'spunky' for the level 9 event. It's the level 6 Kali events that I really enjoy.

IDK, they named a specific Friendship level for the issue, so I assumed it was a main story event.

I am bias, since that is my favorite kink, I love those in general.
The only one I really take issue with is Felicity, due to going from showing her tits to the naked cat walk in one step.

With Lin, she shows that she is growing to love it. Kali says she hates it, but that is her thing, and it's obvious that she loves it. Android's are a bit odd, and seem a bit out of order to me, but her sensibilities are different than most, so it's not really out of place for her.

I would use the term 'beautiful' for those scenes.

Of course the thing is, if that is what they were complaining about, then I don't see the problem, that is not something you have to do... I don't think that is required at all.

It could be, but when you ask her to go after a while, she is pretty excited to go and show off more.

I am not sure, it might help with her score in the contest, but you don't have to get a perfect score to do what you need in that event, you don't even have to win, though the better you do, the more you help the elves.

Oh yeah, that's the other half of it isn't it? It's spun like the adoption of your 'training technique' (*gag*) is a good thing, but that's bullshit. Following it to its logical conclusion, that means encouraging people to pretend to love their elves to manipulate them. Is gaslighting and emotional abuse of elves what you want your legacy to be? I think that qualifies for the term 'disgusting' pretty well.

you do have to raise certain stats to access all the content and you do have to repeat some stuff, but the stuff you are repeating is mostly H scenes. So it can feel a bit grindy in the beginning I suppose but it never really felt that way to me.
It's nothing like say Man of The House or something where you are doing random shit like lifting at the gym every day for a week so you can get strong enough to access story content.

Almost all of the 'grindy' parts are completely optional. They are just there for fun.

At the risk of butting into something I may have misread, if this is about Cornwall's sex-a-thon (hey, I pay attention to more.. important parts of the game than things like stat levels >.>), I think this is blowing things out of proportion.

It's not content that I enjoyed, period. But the dialogues preceeding as well as during the event make it clear Lin does this to make a point in favor of better treatment of her kind.

She may or may not be enjoying the circumstances, but at worst I read it as a "duty to perform" situation in Lin's perception, rather than MC abusing her trust. You could even argue (especially if this occurs with Lin's exhibition being high) that she actually wanted others in position of power to see the unusual bond she shares with the MC.

Edit: Just to clarify - I wholly support your overall sentiment, but don't think it's applicable to this particular situation. And, as an aside, I think other people should write out their disagreements rather than dumping a "facepalm" on the post, especially considering your reaction is pretty understandable.

He's been on it for probably over a year now, that's what the facepalms are for. He's the only person I've blocked on this site.

Since this topic is being brought back up again I'll mention that I appreciate feedback regarding cornwall's orgy event, they are disgusting people with power they don't deserve, but Lin knows how to speak their language, and MC understands how important he is. Cornwall isn't meant to be liked as a person, he's an antagonist. He's done some good things, and he's done a lot more bad things. Gaining favor in politics isn't all sunshine.

Small spoilers... in v0.11, you'll discover Cornwall is up for reelection.

All stats are completely optional for the story, with the only exception of Maria's exhibitionism I think. Everything else is friendship based. Friendship simply keeps track of how many story events you've done.

Not that I would mind a replay much, just want to know if I should even bother keeping the old save archived once new version is stable.

The answer, it won't, I use Lains mod, and I am a beta tester, as long as you do not try and use it on the new version nothing happens.

Nope, it just stops working end of story, as I said, I have been using it for months on public releases, and then using those saves on the betas, lains mod just stops working on new content.
