The problem is, even though Nia is extreme in her approach, it's understandable why since she's lived through it, experienced it and knows people who still suffer through it, as well as backing up her words with actions. Vanessa is a deluded narcissistic rich kid who jumps to conclsions and has shown no capabilities or reliability in actually doing anything. I saw countless people like her when I was at university, and they were all the same. All bluster and thunder while only ever attending the odd protest til they lose interest and go back to their Macs and Starbucks.

She's not like your rich uni friends, that's what I'm trying to say. They are not the same as Vanessa. While she does seem to share some things with your friends, please shed your bias when reading her parts.

Vanessa may not have experienced the hardships like Nia, but is it not understandable to want to help elves? You've heard what Nia went through, Vanessa knows what thousands of Nia's went through. (not the vigilante part of course)

ImperialD that's correct. That code is outdated. You can download Unren.bat and then extract it to the folder where the exe file from the game is. Then open Unren.bat and typ 3 and then click enter.

Then you have to open the game en load you're save file and then click Shift and O. Then you type: money = 999999 ( Or an amount that you want ).

From what I remember, you need to "sneak around" at night, go to Lin and tell her to not wake you up. Then go to the girl that you want and is available to wake you.

She's meant to be annoying at the beginning, she makes assumptions about you that are wrong but can't be easily explained away due to your situation. Once she sees who you are, she realizes you're a good person after all and quits the attitude. She realizes this a problem in her own dialogue, she presumed Kali was a rich bitch, and you were a plantation owner or something. Both are wrong, and she apologizes.

Vanessa is an abolitionist, so she saw you as a direct enemy. Turns out you're on the same side and things aren't that black and white.

She is an unlikable asshole. No amount of deluded rationalization will change that, well until her character development of course.
Whether she develops into an person that sees nuances in everything without jumping to baseless conclusions remains to be seen.
