I think we have already started that process, but yes, it is going to be interesting, especially when they want to try it, but don't have the parts. Poor thing, they grow up so fast!

With sex, maybe something like this?:

"You see, A11-Y, mister MC really loves mommy, aunt Ashley and miss Lin and other girls and organic species have this tradition that when a man really love a woman, he plugs in his USB stick into her USB port and then releases a special white liquid to show her that he loves her. Your mommy was build with this USB port, but you were build without USB port or USB stick, because only adults can do this, but, maybe, when you will get older, maybe we will get you a body with USB port or USB stick and then you will be able to try it yourself."

Question mummy: Internet says that humans and elves don't have any USB port integrated and also that the special white liquid doesn't belong to normal USB sticks and ports. Also the Internet shows 71'497'132'962 result tagged with sex, 67'432'219'706 tagged with porn, as well as others, when I've uploaded the latest camera data from MC, Lin and mummy. Though no reference about USB where found. So either you are hidding something or the internet lies?

They are connected to the hotel's cameras, they probably saw MC and girls doing all kinds of things, and they are also connected to the internet, and, well, we all know what kind of things are on the internet. And they see how Lin is treated in the hotel, but sooner or later they will learn how elves are treated outside the hotel. They will see it on the internet or we will take them out and they will see elves with chains around their necks or we will take them to that beach from that exploration event where that auction was happening and by some coincidence, there will be another auction happening when we will arrive, and they will see it, and they will start asking questions. And we will need to be ready for "The Talk".

It depends on your goal, you could explain it like many, by demonstrating how you treat them as less then human, you could explain that this is the way things are but you don't really agree with it, or explain that the system is broken and we are secretly trying to change it.

Since we want them to learn to treat all people equally and with respect, we need to teach them that, before we explain how we are trying to correct the people who don't feel the same.

USBs are okay, but whatever you do, DON'T show Android your floppy (especially if it's a 3.5" one). You could benefit from the additional RAM you get with a CD, but you risk ruining the mood if you have to swap discs partway through.

Still if you want make an own thread ask your question and hopefully get answers that will help you you. You wouldn't be the first aspiring game dev doing that and wouldn't be the last or you could search for similar threads before posting your own...

Runey sticking with 1 is annoying because yes reliant very hard on forcing the art style carrying equal with words whereas pinkcake can flub a mini arc and just dump a "oh wait 4K fantasy roleplay interlude with four anims and super boss blender lighting, ignore that everyone hates new girl"

But that's a distinct part of the point. This game's art style being a literal decade old means the story has to carry. Hard. and because of that runey has an advantage pinkcake does not.... fully fleshed characters that do not simply exist to be a gamified onahole (talking?! in my pr0n, fuck that noise! Literally!) These characters are characters, they aren't waiting around for hero mcpenis to circumscribe their existence (yes with the exceptions of Lin and Droid, because that's literally their job).

Characters that change and evolve over the course of the story, sometimes for the worse. Characters that have opposing ideals and dreams. For every moment of fanservice, there is also the notion that this hotel is quite actually hanging by a thread in several ways, and none of them are arbitrary or artificial just for drama points, unlike the other game mentioned which quite literally has several characters as actual cockblock/story noise, which doesn't anywhere near the same kind of depth.

For a game about snogging pointy eared waifus the game is hella wide and hella deep... and not done yet.

Sure runey could take a LITERAL year and "convert" things to hs2 and probably pick up a bunch of new folks, but that doesn't change the story and that's the actual reason people still buy/dl/play this.

Personally, I like HS1 better than 2 in a lot of ways (but I prefer 2d over 3d), there are a lot more mods for it, and I know how to convert the custom assets I make for HS1. This means he can have a lot of custom things made for his game, that no one else has.

But in all honesty, the graphics are one of the least important parts of this game, and yet they keep improving. lol

Graphics are so irrelevant to the enjoyment of any game. We can go "wow that's cool", but it will never make us feel anything. Many of us enjoy games with nearly no graphics at all, like dungeons and dragons, and half the game is in your imagination. Other two insanely popular games are Runescape and Minecraft, with graphics older than honey select. Minecraft even tries to look older than it is and finds beauty in its style. Graphics have just never been able to carry a game. Look at Forspoken. I'm pretty sure Harem Hotel will be played more times than Square Enix's newest game.

You should know what you're getting anyway, this is an indie game. I have no choice with which assets I use like indie games on steam (which is beginning to slowly change).

Funnily enough I have actually remade most events before v0.13ish once or twice for the visuals. This is a MASSIVE undertaking that is taking years, but it's still u sing the same engine. I just want the quality to be consistent through the entire game.

Oh, you're right, kids can understand things far more than we give them credit for. You can explain any topic them well enough, its just they don't have the life experience or emotional maturity to put that information into context.

And yes, while A11-y was created as a partition from the Gynoid, she is still meant to be her own person and experience things differently from her mother. She has questions about love and sex and death, but she still needs experience and maturity to put that information into context. And that's something that can only be acquired with time. Essentially, kids, A11-y included, need to learn how to walk before they can run.
