I'm fully aware that I can't do anything about it (except maybe upload the last version myself and put a link there but it's really not my place to do that), I'm just saying it's too bad for 1. People who come here and might be discouraged to become a fan because the only version available isn't working, and 2. Runey, who is potentially losing these fans.

All while the solution to this issue is very simple: put the previous version of the game in the OP for now.

This is not for me, I already have the previous version. I'm just saying that it's a waste and if someone can do anything about it they should...

Those are generally special exceptions, or when a game has multiple current versions. You can try to petition the OP, but it rarely does any good.

The game needs to be reported, once that is done, and the mods/uploaders get around to it, that's it. We have tried many times to have that happen, and they never do, one game I help on still has a broken version here, because someone decided to upload a cracked one from Steam, when the one that was here before was a full version from the dev, that included the cheat codes. But because the one up there now is newer, it stays.

The weird thing is... I kind of did that.
I played v15 May-ish 2022, then lost track of it, so imagine my confusion when I remembered it in July 2024, and came back to only 2 updates and a 7 month long beta phase :HideThePain:

This error corrupt all saves and normal you waste our time as players when you don`t guarantee working saves (from today till 6/5/2022).

When I remember correct I started this game from zero (date ?) so it can`t be that you have start after a time all time from start again.

Well, if you play a beta, who is used to iron out the code and get you a as bug-free final release version of the game as possible:
It can happen.

If you don't want a such high risk for (game breaking) bugs, then don't play unfinished versions of games.

Yes people, please, listen to TheDevian and don't play unstable beta versions, wait for the stable version. And if you need something to do while waiting for the beta, well I am not trying to suggest anything to anybody, but maybe, it could be possible that, maybe, this thread could use some new memes. And there is a serious lack of A11-Y related memes. But again, I am not trying to suggest anything to anybody, I am not trying to tell you what to do, do what you want to do. But seriously, this thread could use some A11-Y memes. I am thinking about some ideas, but I don't have the time to work on it right now, maybe I will have some time next week. Also, right now, I am writing this on my phone, while my laptop is in my backpack.
