Sometimes the software chooses a point that it will use for a thumbnail.
You see it a lot in videos, where the same distance, percentage wise, into the video is where the thumbnail comes from.

I only just realized you can transfer saves between versions, I had been playing the game from scratch every update. This changes everything.

To be honest, the Honey Select sex animations aren't really that breathtaking (lack of proper vaginal animation/rigging for example) unless you're using a bunch of mods that change a great portion of how they look, and suspend your disbelief a little.

Don't need massive mammeries to be beautiful inside and out.

The only beauty I SEE is the inside of a PUSSY!

I've been a huge fan of this game for a long time, but that was one of the most disappointing updates ever. I don't understand how one sex scene took so long.

I don't think so, it's just that Runey remade and is still remaking a shit ton of old scenes. Usually the new scenes have way better writing though, so it's not a complaint on my part.

The old event with Kali and Lucie at the beach had the MC groping Lucie's butt and also doing something with Kali granted she had enough exhibitionnism or submission points (I can't remember which one). The new version of this event is longer and the writing is better (we meet some of Lucie's friends, then go the bowling with Kali). Really all it's missing to be perfect is Lucie's butt being groped.

But yeah the scenes are being remade for a reason. Some old scenes are really bare and lacking characterization. On my (recent) replay I stumbled upon a remade event of Ashley that was pretty great compared to the old version. That's the event where we watch TV with her and she's getting all worked up inside her head. That's a fun one.

Sorry, I'd have to search for it as my folders are a mess, and I have thousands of saves for each version ( ). So to find the specific save I'd have to unzip the thing and launch the game and everything. The version might be v0.14 or v0.15. I don't remember when it got changed.

those 5 you're missing are Jin's scenes related to the garden and farming, upgrade the garden completely, visit the park to buy seeds, plant some, visit Lin's room to start them, some of the scenes take several days ingame to progress to the next one and visits to the garden and Lin's room.

That thing of reading the saves and persistent form the roaming folder causes more issues than those it solves...

It should be optional and not mandatory!

(Yes, I know that's a RenPy feature, I'm not bitching Runey for that... Still it should be optional)

The farming minigame (like all minigames in all games - not necessarily porn games) is just a boring waste of time.

I mean: if I want to play virtual farming there are plenty of apps in which virtual farming is the whole point.

In Harem Hotel there are two drives for which we play:
1) sex scenes
2) the story

Both reading the story and watching sex scenes is entertaining.

Virtual farming is just a mandatory sequence of mechanical clicks that the players are forced to perform to progress the actual game.

At least one hour (or two) of boring grinding with no entertainment...

I get that once coded the concept the dev can obtain hours of game play with much less effort than writing the story or rendering sex scenes... But these are hours in which users are bored, not entertained.

Lain has disappeared again and the mod has not been, and may never again be updated, so it can not be used anymore.

No, she was a character from some big payer at Patreon, nothing to do with mods. The guy stopped paying at some point, and eventually Runey removed the content. It was never supposed to be canon anyway, but it can still be accessed in older versions if you're curious.

I thought that the mod continued it, after Runey stopped using it.
No new scenes were added, it was simply the same things that had been there when Runey had it.

You act as if the entire update was only that one scene, and completely ignore the RL issues he had to go through during that time.

I believe it was, but she didn't make it. Runey got rid of it primarily to save space, since people are always bitching about how big the game is. So, since the supporter who requested her left a long time ago...
