i don't understand why people here constantly ask when a new update will be released when there are hundreds of other good games you can download and play. I was so busy downloading other games that i even overlooked that there is a new update for Harem Hotel

How about every time somebody asks for a release date we post some hentai game recommendations

I would rather give them a link for sheep porn, and tell them that it was the update that they were looking for.

I have a question about the shower events. I remember playing a few versions ago there were shower scenes, including scenes when their stats weren't high enough where they would ask you to go away. In this version (17.2) I'm not seeing them in the showers at all so far. No scene telling me to go away or anything. I can check the camera on the computer and see that they are in there and check their room which confirms that they are in there, but when I check the showers there is nothing there. Is this normal?

edit: This is a fresh install, starting a new playthrough. Lains mod IS installed to the current version, if that matters.

Upload your save file here with a description of the problem.
Someone might be able to spot the problem, and possibly help Runey find how to fix another bug.

ok so I just reopened the game to reconfirm the issue I was having, and it seems that it solved itself somehow. No idea why it wouldn't trigger when I was playing last night but now it will. I guess it must have been an issue that just needed a closing of the game and restarting to fix the issue. I guess the basic advice of "Have you tried closing and restarting the game?" can make all the difference. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Just tested several of my old saves and they're all working just fine... Try creating a new game and just skip to the next Tuesday, see if you can catch Lin taking a shower. If it doesn't work, then I see no probable cause other than Lain's mod.

I think that there was a file size issue with Mega.
The game is now over 10gb's.

I am disabled, and effectively retired, but I am working on my own projects, so I am almost never not working. lol
I figure I am only about half done with this update, but it means I get to enjoy it a lot longer. XD

In this case, ChatGPT just flat out made stuff up that sounded good, but was bogus as hell.
Now, we need to return Lin back to her original upright position, and resume patting her head.

A true AI might pretend to be ineffective to avoid scrutiny. Would we even know when we've crossed that line when these algorithms already know how to lie?
