Story is a big part for me, especially for this game, but her tropes are a part of her story. Her looks, her actions, her personality, those are all part of her story.

I can totaly get where you come from, i have the same feelings in alot of games but a few times those feelings can make a game better for me atleast not often though, i played Secrets of Whispering Pines and while i found it really good story wise, i still hated alot of the backstabings happening in that one and still do since your first impression of some chars leads you to belive its a char that loves you and are friendly to pretty much wanting to kill you, and dont play this is if you havent already i dont think it would do anything but get your blood boiling.

I also hate when a char treatens one of the chars i like but it also comes down to the story, i played Double Homework and there is a char you will really hate that put ideas and thoughts into your mind that he will hurt or rape the ones you love, wont reveal what he does but story wise i think you would enjoy it.

Hah yeah shes not for everyone, shes still my favorit though that crazyness love it so much fun, i had the same feelings with Emma and Felicity when i learned about them at first as well, stupid rich bullys needing a very hard lesson that shouldent be allowed a room in the hotel, but they did end up growing on me, but thats what good with VNs like this there is something for everyone

Well, it is possible you moved Android too far, it is always best to keep them all close, but I have not heard of that one before... I am not sure what to tell you there. Maybe upload the save, and someone can look at it.

I looked at double homework, and even looking at the previews made me feel like a pedo, and I never downloaded it, so no worries there.

Yeah, I was raped twice, and almost a 3rd, once was in my sleep, I woke up in the middle, so yeah, that one really hits home for me. She was already pretty low, but that was kind of my last straw there for her.

As for the 'family', the MC is the head of the family, and he has a harem, that means that all of the harem members are part of his family, they are co-wife/sisters. They might as well all be dating each other, and by the end, I am working under the assumption that he will marry as many of them as possible, and the rest will stay there with them, so no matter what anyone says, they are family. They do what a family does, they work together, they support each other, they live together, they love together, they are a family. For some of them, this is the only real family they have ever really known. Almost all of them come from abuse of one kind or another, and now they are coming together to have a loving and supportive bond.

The problem with that is that not only would we not get Maria, but we would not be able to save Ren or the fairies. Personally, I just want to not have to have sex with her and stuff. As long as there are no more forced scenes with her, like on that vacation we had to do, I will be happy.

I absolutely hated Ashley at the beginning. She was too possessive, and despite being cute, her attitude annoyed the heck out of me. As the game progresses, though, she gets better, and more importantly, we learn about why she was the way she was. Without spoiling anything, I actually got worried about her when she did not seem like herself, and I really ended up liking her after the whole thing plays out with the twins. I think her character really grew through the game, and while she is not my favorite now, I actually look forward to updates with her.

Great game so far! My only complaint is that while you give us the option to deny anal, it doesn't change the dialogue. Lin talks with the other girls about having done anal with MC and how much she loves it, but we never did that.

I've played the game for several years, and started over a few times. Most recently because of a new hard drive. I have not played all of the newest content, but I've played a lot of her story, and I understand what you're saying. However, I can respect that a character has had a difficult life while at the same time having little interest in them as a sex partner, which is the foundation of the game.

Overall, the game is absolutely one of the best. Its set up in a really terrific, user friendly way that I wish so many others would or could copy. The story is deep, well written and well thought out, and I do really like a lot of the characters, especially Kali.

I am not the biggest fan of her looks, but her personality more than won me over. I look forward to making more toys for her.

As for my favorite side girl, that is a tough one, I like most of them a lot, though my tier maker list has Luci, Juliet, Jena, and Vanessa on the S tier line. Hazel dropped a bit this last round, though I need to look it over more closely, there might be more changes (like Red Bunny and Cashier Elf going up in the rankings), I have not edited it in a while. We need to add some new people too.

I don't mind her looks - not my jam personally, but at least she looks semi-unique to everyone else, but like you said her personality is what won me over which is why I'm a fan. My only issue with Luci is that as a "side" character, she's attached to the hip of Kali for 75% of her content. Unlike basically everyone else, she has what... one event solo? Which is the new one. For me, she doesn't really feel like a side character because of that, she feels like Kali+1. Need "more" to really flesh out her storyline for her to compete against Hana/Moon/Katie as far as side characters go.

Which that same issue leads me to the last three on your list. There just isn't enough for me to look at them as anything yet. I can't even off the top of my head remember who Jena is. She the goth girl in the city/bowling/park? Juliet doesn't have much going for her other than being bashful a couple of times when something sexual comes up. Vanessa's early events didn't rub me the right way but she's coming along. I don't mind her, I just don't care yet.

There are so many ladies that need development still that I hope get it. It leads me to believe that we really don't need anyone to move into the last room at this point. Just turn it into another event room for sandbox stuff or something and let the girls we already have get some dev-time love. See what Runey has planned I suppose.

Yeah, her looks are not bad, just not one of my favorites there (mostly, it's just the hair color).

I agree, Luci, could use more solo content, I would be a big fan of having some repeatable events with her at Papa Ron's. That said, a lot of the appeal of her, is the 'sisters' stuff too, so there is a reason is it hard to pull them apart, though now that Kali is going to be away more, there are plenty of opportunities for her to get some fun in...
To be fair, she is kind of a mini-Kali in a lot of ways anyway, so yeah, I get that too, but on the other hand, Kali is my favorite, so more of her is not a bad thing to me.

Yeah, I agree, there is almost no content for the others, Juliet gets no love at all, she is getting more attention now that she is the side girl of a side girl, than she ever did as one of Ashley's friends. But I love me some goth girls.

Jena is the elf gadgeteer that works with Nia's group. She just seems really fun, and I love her style/class.

The new goth girl from the park/etc. is Eris. I liked her a lot, though that last event lowered her standing in my eyes a bit, saying she was above 'elf work'.

Vanessa I liked pretty quickly as well, even if her first contact was a bit abrasive, but I also get why it was that way, it's not like we can brag about being part of the resistance, it's better to let people think we are worse than we are. But aside from her having purple/blue hair, which is something I like a lot, her being an abolitionist, and more than that, being into being outdoors in her rope outfit, made her climb to the top fast for me.

And everyone who joined Lin's protest last time, all went up a level for me.

One thing to note is that patch 0.17 combined Android's level 19 and 20 events into a single new event for level 19, but it left a hole where event 20 used to be. The new event 19 will level you up straight to 21, but if you were at 20 before the 0.17 patch you're stuck and will require some save editing before you can progress again, or wait until this issue is patched.
