Someone other than Runey uploaded it to F95, and it has been one complaint after another about bugs ever since.well shit ... thats sucks

You shouldn't oversell the release schedule lol, game's been getting 2 updates a year since 2022 and now 1 since 2023.
Well, I have been following since the beginning, so I am going with an overall average.

Posting about a schedule that hasn't been true for 2 years and counting is dishonest at best. So yeah don't say 3-4 a year.
I didn't. I said 2-4 a year. and that is an accurate average.

Good, your not dishonest yourself. As from Patreon the 0.17.2 was released at 17th of June 2023. Today we have the 24th of Agust 2024, this makes 434 days since 0.17.2 was released.
So, please show me the math behind, without celling function how that could lead to two years.

That's the time since the even slower release schedule (1 time a year). As of early 2022 it's been slowing down (2 a year), that's how you get the 2 years.

To be fair, representing the release cadence as an average throughout the last six years seems disingenuous to most people who are unaware of the game's history because of how much significantly larger the gap has become; given the last two updates plus 0.18 upcoming would be a single update per calendar year.
I honestly don't mind it though, Runey's given us a lot already over the last six years. Most games would be abandoned by now...
