While true, this last year was an exception, not part of the rule at large, and while it does slow down the average, it not indicative of his usual work. The couple before that were a bit slower, but they were also pretty large, especially if you count all the remade stuff, and new assets we created for it. Not to mention new mechanics like the phone and garden.To be fair, representing the release cadence as an average throughout the last six years seems disingenuous to most people who are unaware of the game's history because of how much significantly larger the gap has become; given the last two updates plus 0.18 upcoming would be a single update per calendar year.
I honestly don't mind it though, Runey's given us a lot already over the last six years. Most games would be abandoned by now...
Personally, I prefer the larger, slower updates, but that's me.
