I just got the LainsMod installed and I am having trouble getting the save game zip file from on online session of the game to work on PC. Any tips?

Check the LainsMod section and see if anyone has encountered your error. Other than common bugs from the base game that discussed, unless someone specifically brings up LainMod bugs here, there isn't a lot of collective knowledge about the mod and what it might have touched/broken

Is it just me, or do I feel like the story isn't as good as many of the reviews are making it? I was invested when the introduction started, but once I got into the game, its just a small side mission game-ish kinda feel. You just interact with the people renting a room and thats pretty much it. I finished exploring the city, I got a bit further into each of the starting characters "story". Is this like a game where the story gets increasingly good as you progress?

I ran out of city scenes long ago, curious if the goth girl I met early on makes an appearance later or if she's in development still. All but 1 room is filled right now and I have not taken on the mayor yet just waiting.

Since she has not worked on it in a while, I would suggest not using it.

Eris is still a new character, her story will continue later.
The last room will get an occupant in several more updates, if things stick to the timeline we saw a year or two ago.

Yes. Each love interest has a whole story arc and there is an overarching Story on top of that. It absolutely gets better as you go.

All of the exploring stuff is new, but it was designed to be done early in the game, so you are fine.
I am pretty sure she will get some more content before too long.

Yes, for how much I love this game and with no intention to insult, the early game is kinda ass, thankfully the dev seems to at least knowledge the early game with the new crop system, when I just put some money cheats when I played because you have not much else to do for a good amount of time, and it doesn't help that the first two characters beside Lin start kinda unlikeable and only become endearing later on(which isn't bad, it's a common character writting technique and one of them became my favorite character in the game, but it doesn't help the problem I'm talking about). I can see how the dev was improving and getting more ambitious with their ideas as the game went, both for the better... And sadly for the worse in this case.

noticed the farm girl in the park has some overlapping texts. when clicking on the quests, is there a way too fix this? so the fertilizer and bugsprey, are not shown at the same time as the quest text

I'm having trouble finding the park. I can get into Caliber City easily enough, but I go from the first location, to the residential district (which gives options of the beach and the church) to the slums, but I don't see any option of a park or a seed shop. What am I missing?

Updated my compressed Android port of Harem Hotel with Lain/JGNeon's walkthrough mod to v0.18.0.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Due to the size of this game, I've split it out so you will need to install the apk, run it to get it to create the game folder that can be found in your Documents folder: Documents/Eonor/e.haremhotel/game. Then move the archive.rpa file into that folder and re-run the port.

Phone file browsers often don't like large zip files. If you are getting an error when extracting the files from the zip, please try using the RAR app.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the port and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.
