As if he didn't take even longer with the previous update, only to present us with something that really felt quite rushed, just to have anything out there, rather than something actually worth the wait, especially considering the plot point we were left hanging on.
I know, I know, I know, he had like a gazillion irl problems one after another, aside taking a real actual break for once, but still...
Idk, maybe I'm just being salty and disillusioned here, but at this point this game feels like that old friend who burned out, became a bum, disconnected from everyone, and while I'll still be glad to see them again in a couple of years, I fully expect them to have moved exactly nowhere, and worst of all - I'm almost okay with that by now.

Only commenting because I did notice you read my earlier long winded post. It would have been longer had I not edited out as superfluous the myriad of excuses to draw out projects like illness or more popular due to it becoming cliche... the harddrive/SSD with all my artwork etc crashed - or was stolen - always lacking backup, of course. Oh, I felt your comment, btw. I think "resigned" is the word I would apply, a very unfortunate feeling. Thanks for the thumbs up.

I felt that way as well, but in retrospect I think it's a combination of the nature of a sandbox game and the fact that it was an update. I'd finished content in 0.17, and then spent some time just f-ing around and raising stats. That means that by 0.18, I've easily met the conditions for all the events (which, this time, all happen automatically), so they just run one after another. If I'd just started playing 0.18, I doubt it'd seem nearly as rushed.

More bothersome to me is that the events happen, but then don't. Lin goes into hiding, and now she's back at the hotel. Felicity gets kidnapped (kind of), and then she's right back. If you haven't finished the events, then maybe don't put them in?

I wasn't aware the dev "Owed us, and has to show proof (backup) of there hard drive crashing or a doctor's note for illness or whatever you call an excuse.

The easy answer is as an ADULT I am responsible for MY money and where it goes. PERIOD. When I want to start support I start support when I end support I end support. It's about being responsible for YOURSELF and your finances.

Very minimal. I only recall two scenes that are a FF twosome; there are a few MFF threesomes.

There's almost no content involving any mother (only brief clips of Ashley's mother), so...

there's tons of FF content Kali and her Lucia, Maria and Hana , Pixel and Maria, Lin, Emma and Felicity, for the most point most of the girls have had FF content even 3somes.... what game are you playing? and between Pixel and Maria FF content Pixels was funnier. Lins was concerning.
Somewhere you are missing ALOT of content and alot of story content trigger other story content.. You are missing something somewhere.
I have played this game since around, 2017....2018, and started new games every update and played full content (for each update), and its 2025.. Ever seen a gamer without internet and a console? It's not pretty.......

Yeah, that's what betas are for. They are preliminar versions not meant to be released to the general public, but only to a selected set of beta tester precisely to find the bugs.
This is true in general.

Specifically to Harem Hotel, experience teaches that playing the beta is higly likely to break your saves. Meaning that all the saves made using the beta will not work with the full release.

So, if you play the beta, chances are that once the full release is out you have to load from a save made with previous stable release and play the new content again.

Been there. Playing the update a few weeks earlier, but playing it bugged because it's still a beta... it's really not worth it.

Please tell me we are not getting another extended period where girls will be missing from the hotel after clearing the content till the next update gets released? (Updates take too long to come these days, you do not mind a dev cooking but if it soft locks you from access to the repeatable content with the girls i would prefer he avoids doing that going forward).

I don't know. The changelog is in the OP. Runey is still not back to where he was before the family and relocation from US to Europe. As how far he is with the story I doubt anyone beside himself would know.

I played this game 1-2 years ago. Its one of my top 3 VN, but I disliked the fact, that there were no big group sex scenes, while having a familiar harem. Did runey add some (repetable) scenes?

Also are there now repetable scenes in the spa?
