Holy shit! My love of Jin is a secret to literally no regular around here but still hearing concrete information there will be more of her in the next update still seems to good to be true haha. Gonna be hype - i did literally say last time i think i posted here i would most be hyped for an update focusing on the side girls like Jin and Kate vs one focusing on the main girls for a change (might have to dig that up now its come to fruition, never expected it to actually happen) but before i do that i need to pop out and stick a lottery ticket on before my mystic powers wain from whatever the hell is happening here haha.

Bravo good man and a certain red head getting more sexy content as well? Runey you truly spoil us! Of course im hesitant at Jin "uncorruption" if that means we trade either her volumptous figure or her sassy "i know what i like and i dont care what people think of that" attutude and also said as much before on the matter but i have faith in you.

Once Lin and MC get her off her drugs, she will be physically transformed to a more natural state and have her brand removed. Once the drugs are out of her system, the mental healing can begin.

And that's before the fact that honestly I think she is too far gone to ever be fixed. I mean, when someone is that broken it isn't something that you can undo over night, or potentially ever.

Worse yet, I am not sure we have any right to even try. I mean, think about it. The world she lives in is fucked up and her current mindset is an adaptation to that world. And as broken and horrible as that mindset is to us for her its not just a way to survive but a way of making sense of the world around her. It's her way of imposing some sort of logic and order on the horrible and unjust reality she has to live in and of exerting some semblance of control over her existence. And I am under no doubt that it was born out of necessity in order to keep her sane.

A therapist would disagree. The world we live in is fucked up enough. Jin has been traumatized and needs mental help

Im guessing further along in Ashleys story - Runey has specified that each main girl will have a specific side girl for their stories and sharing their hotel room.

I would assume there are few (if any) bad endings planned. So far, the only 'bad end' bit would be if you lost/didn't participate in the competition with Cornhole. For that, you need to look for The Toy Master, but we can safely assume the game itself will have a happy ending assuming you even try to get one.

Wouldn't metabolism have already begun that? I mean, they've had enough time to do the competition, visit the island, visit the other elf tribe and time to get them a protector.. it's safe to assume a couple months have gone by in-canon so far. Unless those drugs are that long-lasting or she has an incoming supply.. or Elfin metabolism is really slow in the HH universe.

I see people saying they're hesitant about having Jin "lose her personality". Frankly, I don't think the way she is now is the real Jin to begin with.

I'm not a therapist or a neurologist, but I'm confident I studied enough psychophysiology to learn that our brains don't deal well with stress (especially long term) and, generally, most negative emotions, and it has plenty of fail-safes and defense mechanisms in place (that, sadly, don't always work) to make sure we don't lose our minds and/or break down completely during particularly stressful events/times.
We can all agree that, within the confines of the game world, Jin has been through hell and back for who knows many times (assuming she's been passed around from master to master like a cheap joint as the previous one(s) either got bored and sold her off or died). This "I'm an pro whore and I flaunt it" persona very much feels like a defense mechanism. In that world, she had no say in what happened and no choice in what was done to/on/in her, so in the end, she ended up adopting this persona, either subconsciously or otherwise, to shield herself from further psychological damage.

It has a similar pattern to grief. If you've felt it in your life, you likely know what I'm referring to. We feel sad, we cry, we bargain, and, in the end, we accept. We don't accept it because it gets easier, but because we rationalize that we can't cry forever, otherwise our brain forces us to accept by numbing us down so much until we no longer feel like crying.

Of course, this is all conjecture at best, so take it with a grain of salt. Only Runey really knows what's what.

Yes. If you answer correctly you get a repeatable new event with her. You had to type one letter answers to her riddles, do those letters spell a word? Maybe it's a word if you put the answers backward?

In a normal world perhaps. But isn't it cruel to "fix" her only to throw her back right into hell? I mean, the MC is going to die before she does and what happens than? I mean, sure, you have a plan for the endgame being good but from where we are standing all we can offer right now is an island of peace in an ocean of hell. And the island is rapidly sinking. Once we fix the world enough that it isn't hell any more than sure. That's my take on it at least.

Either way, now I am torn between playing when the next update comes out and skipping it for until we get a couple more simply because on one hand I really like what is going to happen but on the other I am really fearful that I might get another gut punch. God I love it when art invokes such strong feelings in me. You my man are a true artist.

Well, even if we don't change the world, elves and half elves count as property, and can be inherited, so she would be able to 'stay in the family' worst case scenario. We could leave stipulations in the will that she will always be treated well, same with android and the other elves. At the very least then, Kali's kids will have incentive to keep them safe, too much money on the line.

They could even set up a foundation which could legally be the owners, and maybe even find a way to make them mostly autonomous.

So she would lose not just her sexy figure but also the brand, her fashion sense and likely her entire (dont give a fuck what people think about me) defining personality too. Im cringing right now... Despite being my fave character i think im gonna boycott playing her storyline if thats the result and even then i know to my core its gonna piss me off as itll mean being blocked from anymore scenes with her.

Ill always play this game but i might be near the end of my love affair with it (and support for it) as Ashley was a big fave of mine too but these days shes the LAST character i check new story events for. Shes gone from assertive Yandere to meek Twin underling who hangs with fairies... i dont care for the same for her no more and if that happens with Jin too ive no idea which character im supposed to be particularly attached to going forward? Big changes in characters stay ive noticed so there will be no going back for Jin. What a waste.

So she would lose not just her sexy figure but also the brand, her fashion sense and likely her entire (dont give a fuck what people think about me) defining personality too. Im cringing right now... Despite being my fave character i think im gonna boycott playing her storyline if thats the result and even then i know to my core its gonna piss me off as itll mean being blocked from anymore scenes with her.

Personally, I find tits that big gross but to each their own.

I'm a bit more confused about the brand and fashion sense thing. She was marked permanently against her will and she has never chosen what she wears. She also cares more about what people think than most as her whole sense of worth comes from the price tag placed on her. The reason she has these unrealistically large tits is because there is a market for big titted slaves.

So many of the traits you're attributing to her are actually visual indicators of her traumatic past. None of which she ever had any control over as a slave.

This isn't a new direction, by the way. Jin's first event has Lin trying to get her real sister back and get her off the drugs. And I've been hinting this transformation for quite some time.

I don't believe that her current personality will go away, though it will likely soften, and she will regain her 'loving big sister' traits (at least, that is my hope). Like her future body style, it would be a blend between what is it now, and what it was before the drugs. It certainly is not as if she will suddenly become meek, she will just care about more than just sex and how that related to her self worth, she will learn to like other things as well. The new Lin is pretty headstrong when she cares about something, so odds are, that will be the same for Jin.

Like any other drugs, it is likely to leave a lasting impact on her, both physically and mentally. It is quite common with people who spend many years on drugs, some changes in the way you think and act will never be 'undone'.

Personally, I mostly like her future body type, as I was never overly fond of the balloon tits she has now (they look like implants), and I am also glad he is not going to regress her back to an A-cup like most other common elves. Though, I am mixed on the branding, I get why she might want it gone, but it was part of what made her stand out among the others. The new outfit is a bit much though. Looks like something Lin borrowed from Autumn. I do hope she at least keeps the kimono (maybe remove or fix the stockings). I mean, compared to what I have Lin wearing, it's pretty tame... lol

I can't really stand yandere or type A tsundere, so any change that makes it less likely that someone is going to chop off my dick or stab one of my lovers, the happier I am.

Speaking of Balloon tits, I thought of one other pretty easy idea for side girl content Runey, for Ann, any new sex position with her, maybe anal or something, with her thanking the mc for making her feel so loved. That was part of why she was so loyal to her last master, she thought he loved her, but maybe he didn't treat her half as well (at least if you are doing the luxurious food, and letting her use the hot spring, you could even add another new upgrade for it to trigger the new event, like air conditioning or softer mattresses).

The idea is that she comes to him, wanting to thank him for treating her so well, and making her feel special when they are together. Maybe she could even come to him at night, and unlock sleeping with him. Hell, could even be a tag-team with Peni, they come up, have a bit of fun before you go to sleep. All kinds of kinky stuff, like hand holding and heatpats ...wait, what?
