Will these be retroactive in some way? Or will they only be accessible in a new playthrough? I like the dates because it's nice to learn more about the characters but I don't think I'm willing to go through a whole new playthrough just for that.

All you have to do is click the +Affection option in a character's room. You won't see irrelevant content, only relevant content. Such as Kali talking about her job while she works there, or that switching to talking about her school while she goes there.

These dates are meant to dynamically change with their friendship so they only talk about current events.

Are there any mechanics you think could be improved in Harem Hotel? I want everything to be as fun and enjoyable as possible, and not like a grind. I find training pretty fun though, some might consider that a grind, but I try to make each training option different enough (and also plan on adding more in the far future, instead of just 4 per training option.)

I would ask for opinions on the story, but I think most of you who would reply are already fans of the story and are interested in seeing where it goes next, otherwise you probably wouldn't be here haha. So I'm assuming I've got that nailed down, generally speaking.

A lot of content in the earlier parts of the game is always being remade, but that is quickly coming to an end. I can only think of a handful of things that need to be remade now, in either better visual quality or writing quality. (Be sure to replay in v0.15 and let me know what you think!)

I also want to add more to do in the earlier parts of the game, stuff that is fun. Maybe Ellen content? Or something else? I know there is a problem of people feeling like there is not much to do earlier in the game, and I really want to fix that. What do you guys think?

I would like to see an expansion of the photos for the other girls, like the ones for the pets. Taking them in places other than the bedroom. In pairs, alone, either way...

Money in the early and mid game is quite tight, especially if you don't rush for Kali's Dad's money and spend it all on the Bar.

Instead of giving the player more money, give the player more ways to make money: since the author seems to be allergic to prostitution, at least he could give us the option to take pictures of the girls in all situations (especially in public) and livestream in all sort of situations (unlocking more and more crazy stuff with ex and sub high stats)

Some challenge isn't bad, isn't it?

Here are some random things:

- Ellen sometimes hangs out in the lobby, not behind the desk. So you can go on dates with her and watch TV.
- Multi-Girl photoshoots, like the twins or Lin + Rin.
- Fairies are magical, right? What about every so often, they give the player a "bonus" for the day. Maybe raising stats quicker or a money bonus.
- We have photoshoots...but what about videoshoots? Same concept and mechanics, but a solo-animation instead of stills.

First of all, I really like the game.

To address the grind I would suggest that it should be enough to do each training option once to unlock the corresponding perk. Alternatively, it would be easy to create a fast perk mode where the limit is lowered from 10 to 5 for all impatient players.

To address the money problem of new players I would suggest that the bar is introduced as a time based event by Ellen. She could point you to a plan of your grandfather to fix the money problems of the hotel. And explain that this is the intended way to increase revenue.

Later it might be useful to have more options to invest the money. This aspeckt becomes unfortunately later quite useless. I could imagine investing more in the resistance and the future of the harem members.

The first few weeks actually feel quite empty. This is not the best way to pick up new players. More Ellen events would be a good idea. She could familiarize you with the new environment. Maybe show you a few places you can visit later with the other girls?

I had money issues between upgrading the bar and purchasing the elves for the sanctuary...Maybe that could be raised?

I'm OK with not being rich, either. I'm actually referring to a bit down the road when you're working through Kali's story and start upgrading the bar/buying slaves.

I'm debt free after paying off android's new bod, slaves bought and I have a functional bar. Life is good at the moment.

About the riddles, everything you need to know about them is in the Walkthrough/Cheat Mod.

About the money, there is a reason why I changed the money situation in Lain's Mod, to bring more balance to the game. If you play the game correctly by not buying all the girl's outfits, accessories, etc. immediately but only when needed then the $6000 I give you to start out with will help you progress through the game at a good reasonable speed as long as you invest most of the money wisely into the bar asap. I even drop several lines/hints to do so. But to also help with keeping the game from taking too long to progress from excess grinding while waiting for money I completely changed Lain's Money Cheat from giving you $99,999 into a random amount of either $50, $100 or $250 with the silly comments about increasing your popularity on gay porn sites for using the Money Cheat.

I prefer starting with no money tbh, I've tried both. Finished all friendship levels plus all 'sub-levels' at 10 or more in 334 days.

okay this makes sense and I agree: no to anything that prevents the story to unfold, considering that is the main focus of this game. We do love the hentai action, but it is secondary and more endgame/replay value.

I think you misquoted... I didn't have a single issue with the riddles, blazed through on first attempt xD
I'll take the chance to reiterate: I bought all outfits/accessories, I even wasted money with food at the vending machine and ordering pizza, and still I didn't have any issue with buying the bar nor expanding it. Mr. Trenero was absolutely unnecessary in my case, it was basically cheating, and I could've bought all slaves immediately while still being at profit with a stable cashflow.

One idea that could make money management more engaging (and realistic), could be that of letting the MC go into debt if he mess up, and Trenero could back it up only through advertisement. This way, more clients would flock to the bar, but that would mean the MC should employ one or more girls as staff, and their profitability would vary depending on how well they have been trained and are in love with the MC.

This is sort of already the case. Pinups will give you an array of income that is randomized. Sluttier outfits give you more money.

I was just reminding you and anyone else that all the info for the riddles is in the Walkthrough/Cheat Mod so no need to have to remember or write them down. If you was able to do them all on your first attempt then that's pretty awesome.

That could be interesting but it could mess with the story depending on what Runey already has planned. Though as someone who does both story writing and programming too, I could see how it could be implemented with very little impact to Runey's story.

Lots of new outfits will be available in v0.15, it's the biggest expansion to outfits yet \o/

And there will be more training options available for exhibitionism and submission eventually, which should make gaining those stats feel even less like a "grind".

By grinding I mean having to do minor things or just skip time to get through some of the weeks to get paid by the bar to have the money to do certain tasks or pay back money loaned if you don't use some type of money cheat.

I do look forward to doing more with the girls in the dungeon.
