Especially since she also goes to the grocery store by herself. Surely she wouldn't want to be caught without "regulation" chain? Especially when her owner isn't there either.

I may just be reading way too much into this, but I don't really undestand the "rules" for when they're required.

It's more of a cultural thing than a legal thing. If you run into a cop trying to find a reason to give you a ticket, he can use not having a collar as a reason. But a cop isn't likely to stop his car while on patrol to give someone a small fine. And most people in general aren't going to care what an elf is wearing because they all know there is no getting out of slavery. The collar was always symbolic.

I Broke my last one and am waiting on my Emergency Rations to capture more for me!. :devilish:

Yeah, Kali is already into degradation play, and stuff like that. She already did a maid, that is just one step further.

The real question is what would the elves (and Vanessa) think? Would it be like blackface in the early 1900's?

Lin could go either way, thinking it is cute or offensive.
Nia, hard to say, she could be outraged or do they old, "now you know how it feels" kind of thing.
Sylvia I think would be offended, but glad that she looks like a common elf, not a high elf.
Vanessa might want to do it too, to feel like an elf, or she could get offended FOR the elves (even of they don't).

Lin is in a much better place now, she is confident and secure in her place in our hearts, knowing that we would never want to replace her. But she might be more willing to do it for fun, or just to compete with Kali (again, mostly for fun). As a maid, Kali could never compare, but that isn't what this is about, it's more of a Slut-off
