Why this isn't mouse Only capable is a question for the ages, what a miss. Gotta pass, was getting interesting too gameplay wise.

Actually think this is a pretty decent game, if you look past the fact you can't save and the obvious unfinished testing state it is in. Will be keeping an eye on it for future update and hopefully some fixes.

Not a fan of the gameplay at all. Any game that requires timing is generally a pass for me, though. If I didn't also hate the limited screen size, and keyboard/mouse (and middle mouse button, seriously?) gameplay, I would have played this at least past the combat training.

Honestly this last patch kinda broke the game. The 4 stars are more reflective of the previous builds.

I found a hacky workaround for the "having an autosave post final boss (as of v0.61) crashes game" thing.

1 - Go to C:\Users\[your pc username here]\AppData\Local\Isekai_lost_in_Harem and delete your autosave before you launch the game (this is already known). You have to do this every time.
OR
2 - Go to C:\Users\[your pc username here]\AppData\Local\Isekai_lost_in_Harem, open your actual save file, copy the contents of it, and overwrite the contents of your autosave with them. Then, go into the "properties" of your autosave and set it to read only. You only need to do this once, but this will have a few consequences.

Consequences of setting your autosave to read only:
- You cannot buy items.
- You cannot rearrange your inventory.
- You cannot change your build (i.e. stats, skills, equipment).
- You cannot progress the game (i.e. continue story, level up, gain gold, etc).

I don't know what exactly causes the bug, but my normal save file is 9kb. The autosave is ALSO 9kb, but when I exit the game, it changes to 6kb. Something is being removed from it when the game closes, and that leads to the autosave getting bricked, then the game getting bricked when it tries to read the autosave and can't find what it needs to.

If you copy the contents of your normal save over it and then set it to read only, you won't have to worry about the game crashing anymore. Since on "read only", it can't have whatever gets removed from it removed in the first place. This also means that the autosave won't be updated with anything, but you can always just disable the read only when the game gets updated.

On another note, here's some info about this game, just because I like it enough to do a little digging (it's probably the Parade Buster player in me):

Do me a favor: Go to C:\Users\[your pc username here]\AppData\Local\Isekai_lost_in_Harem and check the file size of "save_auto.json". Then check the file size of your most recent manual save. After that, tell me what their respective sizes are.
Afterwards, delete your auto save and start the game again, then tell me if that fixes it.

This might be related to the auto save crash bug (and if deleting your auto save fixes it, it definitely is). I need to do a little investigation of my own.

Ok, so 1st picture is C:\Users\[your pc username here]\AppData\Local\Isekai_lost_in_Harem
And 2nd picture is the folder game itself

EDIT: Without the auto save file it work. Thanks.

Alright, I have my suspicions on what exactly is causing the bug now.
Delete save_auto and that should fix your issue.

One last question: Last time you exited the game manually, before it started crashing, did you do it by going to the start menu and then hitting exit?

Thanks for your help.
After doing a manual save I exit the game by doing Alt+F4 generally
Maybe that's why 'Auto save' and 'manual save' tell two different stories.

Hm... Well, I'm not exactly sure of what causes it now, then. Exiting the game from the start menu definitely causes it, I know that for a fact, but Alt + F4 usually doesn't. In fact, I've had the game crash numerous times, and I've used Alt + F4 myself numerous times as well, but that's never caused it to break my auto save. You're saying it does for you?

This bug is really confusing me now.

But at any rate, glad I could help. If the game starts doing this again, I made a guide of the two currently known methods (to my knowledge) to fix it.
1 - Go to C:\Users\[your pc username here]\AppData\Local\Isekai_lost_in_Harem and delete your autosave before you launch the game.

Anyways, try your hardest to avoid quitting out from the start menu, and let me know if that helps at all. Quit out from the main menu (where you can access the shop, your stats and skills, etc) or somewhere else in-game if you can. I don't know for sure if that will fix it, but my suspicions are that it might.
