Version 1's evil path is much darker than version 2. Specifically scenes involving Samantha and Terra if I'm remembering right. It's been a long time since I've played it though, I might be wrong

hyp01 I also have another thing that the developer, ker , had released back in the day inbetween remakes and has since disappeared off the internet too, called "Harem Experimental". It is basically a small experiment: a bunch of Harem's scenes remade in a more realistic art style. Here you guys

Not a surprise. I have been a fan since 2014 and the game was in development since before that even! Here is a simple explanation, in order:

1-Harem V0.6b.8 that I just uploaded (because it had disappeared off the internet) was the final release of the first, Original, Harem Game that ker made.

2-Harem c8m7 was the final release of Ker's First remake of the game. This is the version that progressed the furthest, as well as the final version that Ker worked alone on.

3-Harem C5.0 is an unofficial remake that Ker wasn't involved in at all. The developer did some quality work though.

4-Harem Remastered (current version c4m5) is the current version of Harem. Ker was involved in the beginning and has given his blessings to the team to carry on.

And as a bonus there is "Harem Experimental" that I just uploaded after it too had disappeared off the internet. It is made by Ker and is basically a small experiment: a bunch of Harem's scenes remade in a more realistic art style.

This version has been dead for over a decade lol. The version still alive is the remaster, as I explained in the post that is literally right above yours .

I was very disappointed by the mention that Ker was involved in the remaster only at the initial stage. So, this game is really dead in some sense. Although, of course, there is hope that he instructed the current developers...

What interests me most is the ending: so we defeated everyone, collected this "sort of harem" (a strange name for girls that MC collected not for himself), and what next? And here I would like to know what Ker planned, otherwise this will remain a fanfic

PS By the way, thanks for the "experimental version". It, and, perhaps, the unofficial remake, have the most normal graphics

i think there is some kind of time paradox at work there, maybe we play in the future or some such.
I realy hope Ker was not gonna make us give up all the girls except one

Well, they still consult him on the general outline when they need to. He just stepped back from actually developing it and basically gives the team advice and guidance when they need it. At least that is how one member of the team explained it IIRC.

Honestly, I remember that from the clues in the first version and the first remake (Haven't played the newer two versions because I got tired of the game being canceled and of replaying the same scenes again. And the first two are the only two that were Ker's sole vision after all) I was 95% certain I knew how the game would end and how it is indeed a harem.

The storm in the beginning somehow made the MC travel through time or through dimensions (with through time being the more likely of the two) , so he can't get back to his original land. The ending would be you, after achieving great glory, fame, and riches in this land, deciding what to do with each individual member of your harem (Keep/sell/etc). So it is a Harem, because the end result is that they are only yours unless you choose otherwise.

I could be wrong of course, but I recall seeing many clues that this is the case.
