Overview:
Cain is a perverted young boy who is supposed to be a warrior. His ancestors killed an evil demon called Gargantuan. Cain's brother, Abel, wants him to take his role as a warrior seriously, but Cain is more interested in ogling the village ladies.

Things take a different turn when Abel disappears and Cain is visited in his dreams by The Goddess of Time. She tells Cain that Gargantuan has come back and that it's up to him to stop it. What follows as a very long journey for Cain to save the world from Gargantuan and develop a harem of beautiful women, though not necessarily in that order.​

That's a mistranslation, the true title would be Harem Blade ~The Greatest of All Time~ For whatever reason the translator decided not to change it from the VNDB name.

Anyway I'm looking forward to trying this out, I wasted a couple hours figuring out how to use a pc98 emulator only to find out I couldn't patch any copy I found online.

How does the control work? I got the mouse to work by pressing f12, and then the dude runs around like crazy. If I don't use mouse, dude still runs around like crazy sometimes but less, though using directional buttons to control the mouse pointer is way too clunky.

Harem/Harlem discrepancy aside, I wonder whether the original writer ever actually READ the Bible? I imagine they're aware that Cain and Abel is the name of a pair of brothers, but do you think they're aware of what the brothers in question are actually famous for? Or is it actually just foreshadowing so unsubtle that Cain should have decided to name his sword "Brotherslayer"?

For the most part Japanese media just treats the bible as something to grab cool shit from. Which isn't unique to Japan, that's how most people treat stuff from other cultures.

So has anyone figured out how to not get stuck at the very beginning when Chocolate first is saying she doesn't want to marry Abel, because I keep getting stuck inside the door and if you try to move it just goes "they're talking softly."
