First and foremost, great update Osirian! It's been a while since I last played the game (version 0.3.2) as I waited for the updates to accumulate but it was worth it. However, I have come across a hiccup. After buying the black dildo, I appear to be stuck. The Katie hint suggests that I progress through Lily's exploration event, but I can't seem to trigger it. Also, a bunch of other storylines seem to be a tad stuck as well. Any help? Thanks in advance
Ah, I should clarify that hint. The exploration event is triggered automatically after the second threesome with Jamie & Zoey.

And how can I access that? As it is, I have no option whatsoever to progress any of the stories. The Events and Contacts dropdowns remain unaccesible. And the Jamie storyline appears to be stuck as I cannot access her first 3some. I have had the conversation where she and Lily talk about Jamie considering but that's all. Could it be some sort of save compatability issues? My savefile is from the 0.3.2 version.

You're right, it was a save compatibility issue. Your save had Jamie's Working Girl events hidden which blocked your progress. Here's a patch to fix the issue, just extract it to the main Harmony Girls folder and overwrite the file when prompted. I tested it with your save file and it should work, but let me know if it doesn't!

what a lame way to attract people
Alright, I'll bite. For one, developers or uploaders don't have a choice what tags they get to add or not. If the content is in the game, the tag needs to be added. Second, I don't even choose what dream scenes make it into the game so it's not like I'm maliciously adding content just to add an extra tag to the game. Patreon and SubscribeStar supporters vote on which dream scene gets added every update. In the past, they voted for a couple of futa dreams to get added to the game so I added them, that's it.
I understand the frustration of filtering by tags that you enjoy only to come across a game that features one minor scene dedicated to that tag. As a watersports enjoyer, I've come across tons of games tagged with urination only to have a single minor scene dedicated to a woman squatting and peeing in the grass. You can check the post history to see the conversation about this topic and why I included it in the tags (required) and why I put a disclaimer in the description of the OP.
At least some of these problems will be alleviated when the new tag system gets implemented, if it ever does. Unfortunately, this problem would not be remedied by such and I don't know what to tell you. It is what it is I guess.

Yup, literally built into the gallery itself. It's a button in the top left corner of the gallery. It also only temporarily unlocks your progress so you can use it at anytime without altering the actual progress you've made toward unlocking the gallery.
