I hate when you have to do every option, just so you don't get locked out of other stuff down the line.
Yes, it's a really bad design. Each character should have their own points in order to progress with them.
I totally get where you're coming from, and I appreciate the feedback. I know it can be frustrating to feel like you have to experience every scene to avoid getting locked out of future content.
My goal is to make the system as player-friendly as possible. For those "locked" choices, I’m aiming to balance things so players aren't overly restricted. For example, if you earn one point with Jennifer from a specific event, but there are four points available from different events overall, only the point from Jennifer will influence her specific options.(It will only require +1) This way, you won’t miss out on other content just because you skipped one scene.
I’ll keep refining the system with this in mind to make sure players have freedom without feeling forced to follow every path.
