Nah you're right, but he could be in jail for committing tax evasion which is obviously illegal everywhere but we don't know why he is inactive so we're just speculating as to what might have happened

He isn't jailed. The conversation was saying "is haruya jailed?" But then confirming he isn't and instead talked about shirkami who was jailed. We just don't know what haruya is at right now.
If he retired he would’ve shut down his subscription services (Fanbox/Patreon) and probably announced something on twitter, but like I’ve said before, he’s been utterly silent on ALL platforms

Shirakami was Chinese, haruya is japanese, and Shira was jailed for Tax Evasion not the Porn per'se, in fact he was under watch by the Government, but they did nothing unless he started to evade Taxes, thats why his Story is so fucked up.
For haruya we don't know, maybe he had an accident, or maybe his life was pretty rough and he head into a certain forest and....well he left you know?
... The thing is, you can't declare any sexually implicit material or activity in CN because it's plain illegal, therefore you're bound for Tax evasion to some extent.
For Haruya we can only do baseless speculation, not worth spreading any rumor. Just wish him the best and move on.
