Before anyone asks, I have no idea about the "Wincest" patch yet, I have not looked at the update at all, and have no idea if it needs an update or not. Might not get updated until public release, maybe sooner. No point constantly asking about it.

Why? It gets the work done. As long as it's not some demanding sh1t I can use this one. Most of the time it works well and when I need a higher end I just borrow my friend's PC. ANyway, it's so rare I don't even need to. Most of the software I use have a web interface so I don't rly need to install them lol. But yeah, overall you 're right maybe it's time to upgrade. I'll try to save some money but it ain't easy. I'm not in a situation where the money I gain should be used for my desires.

People are excited about the Update anyway, so if we are sneaky, I can answer you and nobody will see us.

But it is more about security, Windows 7 and even older versions dont really receive any support, so if there is some security problem, it can be exploited. I mean, in theory it depends what you are doing on your PC, if you just use it to game and goon, it is whatever, you can re-install Windows if you need to because you catched a virus or anything else. But if it involves things like Onlinebanking I would not risk it.
btw. Windows 10 is being phased out in around 2 months, so IF you decide to upgrade, Windows 10 is not the way to go.

According to the patch creator, the 4.0 patch *should* work but there may be some minor issues. The new patch won't likely be available until the early access window closes.
