Out of curiosity, are you referring to any specific game by any chance?
There are at least 7 sex scenes in the FMC and 3 where it is not included, there may be a few more, my memory is not enough for that much.
So many? I think I need to replay from the start. But maybe you meant the different routes, like Marianne or the beautiful blonde (incidentally I hope the leprechaun has found her phone number and will give it to the MC

Futagenesis Unveiled is the one I had in mind. But there have been soooo many over the years giving you only sex scenes in dreams that I lost count. Luckily it became outdated in the majority of new games a couple of years ago... Till it came back to the games with futa/trans protagonist.
Btw I don't know if some of you misinterpreted my first message, I was genuinely asking, but I think some people read it as a criticism to the game?? No, I have never played this one, soon I will try it. I was just curious to know if there were sex scenes haha. Thanks for answering my question.
i guess dream sex scenes are used as a crutch when the game needs time for a sex scene to happen in the story, but i agree that it's usually worse than having erotic-but-non-sexual content

Don't get me wrong, while it's true that EI could fall into that group, at the end of the day, it has had only four updates. The first two are like you said, but the third and fourth ones actually contain sexual content with different characters.
I'm not that strict in this regard. I understand that if you want to tell a story like EI does, you can't have Ashe and the other characters throwing themselves to suck cock at every opportunity they get. That would kill the immersion with the duplo thing for example. Plus, EI has some of the best writing currently, alongside Pale Carnations. I wouldn't want the game to become a sex fest, there are other games for that, like Inner Growth.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's normal for a game to not have sex scenes in the first two updates or so, in my opinion. What's not normal is having a game with four updates, 6000 renders, and a deliberately slow burn to milk Patreon supporters, I despise that.
Futagenesis is a game that has been out for almost two years between its release and the last update, with more than 5k renders, and maybe around 4 hours of gameplay, aaaaand it has zero sex scenes outside of the ones mentioned. I just wanted to know in which direction Having a Hard Time was heading. I'm relieved to know it's closer to EI than to Futagenesis.
