That's a good effort to look for information, but this is a video game and the decision to get someone pregnant is not something random, that logic that sometimes it doesn't work does not apply here.

It seems there are no tags to indicate dark themes like family tragedy, suicide (attempts), death, ...

I guess to impact the player more, in "Acting Lessons" everything seemed joy and fun, it seemed like everything would be happy but when we got to the final parts "BOOOOOOOOOM" he stuck it in my ass really hard and left me looking like a used bitch on the floor.

I meant that these type of tags in general do not exist in f95zone's tag catalog.

"Acting Lessons" is an extreme example since the player was forced to decide which LI to save and which not so that she would die in the fire. (It's been a couple of years since I played it.)
I played a similar situation in another game where the player also has a decision "A or B (or wait)" to decide who lives and who dies, but there was the option to postpone the decision and find a way to turn off the whole mechanism creating the dilemma. (However that was a freeroam game in a 3D world, not a linear VN.) In context of "Acting Lessons", the mc would look araound and eg activate a fire sprinkling system or find a fire extinguisher which would allow to turn off the fire or at least save both LIs.

Personally I did not like the Lisa story in this Episode. Dev literally killed 3-4 characters, a small child and both parents, 2 in a car accident and 1 by suicide, and the blame is on Lisa who then attempts suicide, too ... (and probably succeeds if Jane does not find her in time.) That's all forced on the player without warning.
The scene comes right behind the huge shower sex orgie and the weekend choice. This change from humorous porn game to emotional tragic drama is very abrupt and it actually kills the mood for the game for me. If dev wants to tell this kind of dark story, best do it in a seperate VN, without humour and porn and with a warning for the players ...

Quick question, I just finished Chapter 3 and am starting Ch4, but there hasn't been an update to the Gallery or Secrets, still ends with Ch3 stuff. Hadn't finished 3 when I updated the files to 4, do I need to reupdate them or anything, or is there just no updates there yet?

Edit - Saw some people saying they had similar bugs and it was fixed by a "reinstall". It worked for me to, but if you're like me and am dum, by "reinstall" they mean make a fresh folder and delete all the old flies (saves are unaffected), instead of just writing over the old files, lol.

Now that is a great point. I plan to replay the game soon to get the little men but taking the time to replay the bar scene and take note of Marianne's behavior might shed some light on it for me. That would be some superb writing and subtile foreshadowing/replayability enabler (or whatever you want to call that).

While I like the Idea that they are ment for each other too, there is something in the back of my head nagging me about the fact that she would escape from their experiment unscathed. I am not talking about her growing a dick too but something smaller or at least less drastic. It would signal me the potency of their formulae. The other option is that the experiment might have worked as a catalyst for something else that was already there.

you don't even need a patch for the steam version to have the "correct" relationship. as for the mod, no idea, but usually using mods disable achievements in steam games. I never tried a Ren'Py game with mod on steam so someone else should answer that part.

Yeah saw the mention of it being prepatched a little while after I asked, heh.
Still curious about the mod though - you're right that's the case with most games but I'm hopeful since the in-game ones still work with the mod
