They meant that side content is almost always meaningless, we want to know what happens next, the side content is a small bonus, and by dedicating a 8 month update on a small bonus is sad for people that are loving the story. Also saying "updates were pretty outstanding" or anything about the quality means nothing, considering that this is the first update that is only side content, so there is no precedence in potencial quality. Will still play, but I'll admit that I was disappointed, this is one of my favorite VNS and not having real content for 1 year and a lot of months is a shame.

Can the mods (ideally the multimod but hopefully at least the ipatch) be used on the Steam version?
New content is good, but the dev really need to address the bugs. Version 5.1 and all images from this scene are still missing or incorrectly addressed...It's right at the beginning, after the first Movie Night with the Landlady.
At least Multimod and iPatch work with the Steam version, I haven't tried the others.

I should have specified Steam achievements, not the game's internal ones. I've played other AVNs on Steam where mods did block them, if that's not the case here that's good to know

I know... I also have the Steam version. There's no issues with achievements while using mods and patches.
Although, now I'm a little curious as to which dumb AVN games block achievements while using mods? To me, that just sounds like a bad dev with control issues.

And I can't actually remember which the others were (what I meant to say earlier is that I've played AVNs that were available on Steam; I didn't actually play them via Steam because there was no point if achievements didn't work - otherwise I could easily go back and check), but IIRC the issue was that Steam itself didn't like something about the way the mods worked or were applied. This was years ago too, for all I know it's been solved or worked around by now
I think I'm in love with Hannah. Those two songs were so heartwarming and heartwrenching respectively. Love being her nerd but I also wanna hug her 24/7

I would be quite surprised - immensely so, in fact - if that were the case, given that Jane is fairly adamantly of a purely sapphic orientation. To put it quite bluntly, lesbians do not tend to have sex with men.
