It started of really well and the earlier updates gave it more of a romantic vibe. But now it feels like its getting too political and somehow this random worker is gonna try to foil a big time criminal controlling the city?

I mean, yeah, just look at the user reviews this game has - so much transphoby, so much hatred for game and its characters, so horrible transphobic review-bombing! Seriously though, being triggered by some rare comments from random anons and running away to hide in your echo-chamber and cry woe isn't really something you'd call "healthy" behaviour. Very "modern" though.
