We do need more 3D games actually, but dev needs to definitely change the models or make them look prettier, they look bit creepy and not very attractive, not the worst, but could be better, but it's a demo so hoping this aspect gets improved, never enough 3D simulation games, we have enough crappy renpy games and boring rpgmaker games with no animation as is (probably too much) and 2D games are in abundance, very little 3D games that are even proper simulations either.
I'm quite happy with the models. But in full 3D, it's a whole issue to make them look good in any situation, because it's a mix of the model, lighting, facial expression, camera positioning, and ensuring the animation doesn't break any vertices in an awkward way (as is currently the case with Stacy's clothes).
In Renpy Games, you have the advantage of being able to make each shot have the lighting you want, with the perfect expression and the correct camera position.
Obviously, everything will improve over time, but in 3D, you have to make a lot more sacrifices to make it look "mostly" good in any setting. And obviously working with lighting in Unity is quite a bit more complicated than in Unreal, for example. I have many more advantages to work alone and manage to squeeze out every drop of performance I can, but graphically you have to make sacrifices. In Unreal, on the other hand, you throw the character with a couple of lights and it already looks much better, but the performance is generally much worse (especially with a script load as large as this particular game has).
