Damn, the performance on this really isn't good, also there needs to be an unstuck button.
Also there needs to be a bit more direction for what you are supossed to do exactly
Hey, how are you? If you have a decent enough PC and experience significant frame rates drops, you're most likely having issues with the graphics API; the engine is severely buggy with dx12 on some machines.
If you force DX11, you might get better performance:
Like this:
Create a shortcut to the executable (right-click on it, create shortcut).
Once you have it, right-click on the executable, select Properties, and at the end of the destination path, type:
-force-d3d11
You'll end up with something like:
"C:\Games\HLHN\He Lives Here Now.exe" -force-d3d11
As for what to do in the game, it's not "a lot". Talk to girls, score points, and fuck. There are some special events that will appear in the quest section (TAB). But for now, it's mostly a tech demo of features. With f1 you can see almoast all the info, an values requirements in general. With each update its getting more in a "real" game territory.
And in terms of performance in general, over the weekend I was working quite a bit on reducing polygons and improving shaders, so the next version will probably work much better. (And it will most likely come by default in dx11)
Just think of an idea for the touch function.
Instead of just hands you can also whip it out and bust a quick one that'd be funny af.
I had the idea for something like that, and toys

.
Even in the basement, one of the walls is made of wood, on the other side there's an empty room. I wanted to include a small dungeon there to be "discovered" xD
