Just report the complaints and move on. These comments are actually reportable under several rules: they are derailing the thread with excessive talk about development speed, they often border on harassment/lack of respect toward the dev, and complaining about the content itself (tags) is strictly prohibited. The mods will eventually delete them once reported.

I don't care much about it, but I wish it were better prepared for it before making him into MCs dad as well.

I just found the game, but my guess is that the support for the relationship change came much later.
There are even imagines that still say what they are.

He's not supposed to be the MC's dad - the story intention has always been that Davie is the MC's uncle (father's brother). Amelie, while a motherly figure, is a non-biologically related Aunt. She was never meant to be more than that. Mia and Stephanie are their children, the MC's cousins.
