Hey guys!
As I mentioned in my last update, this time of the year is what they call peak season, and my “real” job has been eating up almost all my time,even bringing work home. It’s been stressful, but I’ve managed to carve out a few pockets in my schedule to stay saneandkeep working on our beloved HeartProblems. Most weeks I only had my weekends free, so I pushed out around 40–50 renders each week.
The good news is that my vacation time is coming up soon, which means more free time to dedicate fully to the project.
I don’t have an ETA yet, so I’d really appreciate if you could avoid asking for one
And even though I’ve been quiet, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working
-200 new renders and an animation so far. Not bad at all.
Thank you so much for sticking with me. I’m still working hard and doing my best to give back to all of you.

We really have to be grateful that A) he apparently already has more than half of the update finished despite all the stress, and B) after a month of silence, he’s decided to speak up again. This must honestly be the longest stretch in which he’s been this communicative. I’m thankful for that. Q1 is definitely a realistic window for THE update.

People who aren’t even subs and can’t read Xeno’s reports/comments. He himself called it the most important update so far and said there would be a “big surprise” for us. I think he’ll keep his word, and based on the buildup (Stephanie is also “done” now), it makes more than sense.

Yeah even I was thinking that it's a solid pace for a guy juggling work overload from main job, learning and familiarizing himself to a new work environment (Blender) and working on the most important chapter of this novel. Much respect.
He also said this one's gonna overshoot 1000 renders, for obvious reasons. So gotta factor in that as well. My guess is by 20% perhaps?
Also, I'm seeing a lot of outdoor scenes between MC and Amelie. Let's see how much MC could push his luck in these scenarios.
Cautiously optimisitc for a Q1 release.
