He is solo dev but he delivers unlike other choacroches who feast on then fan like - oceanlab he realeased 1 season in 7 years with proper team

I can say that his updates are always worth waiting for, because the developer pays attention to all the characters. Each render advances the plot or a scene. Without any unnecessary filler. That's why his updates seem so big. (You can do 4000 renders and not show anything substantial – those are just meaningless numbers on a piece of paper that don't mean anything if you don't know what to do with the game.)
The development pace is good, considering that this is not his main job right now.

I think Xenorav has the perfect number of characters. Many developers fall into the trap of having too many characters. Due to differing preferences, players are waiting for content featuring the girls they personally like.

Is this one of them situations. Where the dev didn't want to or had no plan for something. But because of others pestering/pushing for it, it was done begrudgingly?

Like at 1st fine. He was reluctant, cool. Understandable. But after the choice, it just continues on business as usual. Like one would expect at least some type of steady reduction in his reluctance to the idea. Even more so considering what the two have already gotten up to. I imagine it will eventually happen but good lord.... at least I hope it eventually happens.
