And yet, here you are. Most of the haters, probably you as well, are totally infatuated with Heart Problems because it is actually really well made. Plenty of games have good models and good visuals and don't get much traffic because the writing and build up are bad or too quick.

Nothing about Heart Problems is original, and yet it was well made and well written. The tease is exactly what people want (even if they want to complain about it endlessly... as the complaining is an indication of how well the game is made).

If the game was bad you wouldn't be here and neither would anyone else.

Firstly i'm not hating on the game.
I just looked up the thread like i do with games i don't follow regularly once or twice a year, if i remember.
The game interested me early on, the teaseing was one of the reasons i lost interest pretty fast, the other the lack of choices like telling the younger cousin to fuck off, as well as the unlikeable MC.

And no it isn't really well made all together imo. The models of the older cousin and aunt are top, so are the renders and animations, but that pretty much were the good ends for me.
I don't play VN's for the porn, i like good quality renders and animations, but story, characters, character development and relationships are what i'm looking for.

I don't know which prison in the country he is in, but in Russian prisons everyone has had phones for a long time and he could just go in and write that he will continue as he comes out. Therefore, there is a possibility that something happened to him, death, severe injury.

Oddly enough...or sadly enough, dev did speak of heart/health problems before. Mfer even said he has hemorrhoids. :poop: Damn!

It really seems like his personal life is a mess. Health issues, law issues, and in my opinion..burnout on game development. Back when he was still posting, often times it sounded like his general enthusiasm was waning. I think Patreon shutdown is a convenient way for him to quietly step away with an excuse. He could say, see no patreon, can no longer work on game without compromising my vision and the integrity of the story/ :cautious: or some shit.

Just wish he could be bothered to make a genuine final post to his supporters stating it is over instead of going the scumbag ghosting route like so many others.

I sincerely thank you for all of the love and support you have given to me and to the lovely ladies of Heart Problems game these past years. You have truly been the steadfast Chewbacca to my Han Solo. (Now you can be the Princess Leia to my Han Solo because I am fucking all of you right in the ass...something you will now never get to see from Amelie in game btw, ha)

For porn game devs that have gone MIA I don't see why not. With AOA Academy which is abandoned with the dev ghosting everyone some genius simply grabbed the last version from here and while impersonating the dev put it on Steam where idiots have been buying it, even though they probably won't be doing anything with it either other than selling someone else's abandoned half-finished game. If I knew how and had the patience to rebuild all the shit used in this along with a few other formerly popular abandoned AVNs (models, objects, hair, clothes, locations, buildings, rooms, other backgrounds, music, etc) I'd do it for the bragging rights, fuck the money. If they are suddenly worried about what some random is doing with something they abandoned let them get in line and sue me (if they can even find me, no money to follow) and get a summary judgement they can't collect (ungarnishable welfare ftw, wouldn't be the first time).

Maybe he died? It wouldn't be the first dev to do so (ie that Lexi dev). Oh well, fuck that asshole for dying before he finished his AVN, dammit. If his estate wants funeral money from me one of his relatives better pick up where they left off and finish my fap material.

^Me when i can't accept the fact that the game is abandoned and i need to convince other people to accept it and put a tag on it first so i can finally accept it and move on.
