Are u new here? He always does this in the beginning of a new development cycle. After a just released version we get some promises and regular updates for 2-3 weeks. Then he disappears for half a year or so. I could always be proven wrong but that's how it always has been.

I think the crabs will come after groping or other contact... Normally in part 2 you try to get rid of them... but you know better how to organize yourself...

If he is smart that is what he will do. But his SS doesn't show how many subs he has right now. If he has enough subs to keep paying his bills, he will probably just keep releasing 1 update per year.

I believe they're referring to development updates -- ie, "here's how things are progressing" posts -- NOT game updates. He's been posting dev updates somewhat regularly of late.
