Man this shit sucks every time I try to start a new game, the game starts with me and Kylee in her room when they are about to sneak out of the house.

Just giving this a go for the first time, so is the game supposed to start this way? It does for me (and it's weird: you're just dropped in the story somewhere?)

The game has been reworked. Kylee's room is the beginning place for this game from this update onwards. Unless the Dev decides to go back to sandbox again!

And that's since v0.2 then? (And what's this v1.5 which was apparently the first version where sb was ditched?)

Here Mega . This is the sandbox version with that scene but it was buggy, scenes didn't trigger, and stuff like that, that is why the game changed to pure VN style.

Would it be still worthwhile to check that out? Does that have a proper (story) beginning? Is dev planning on fixing this? Weird it's seemingly only talked about years ago, and I haven't seen a single review mentioning the f*ed up start of the game.

The dev of Badik give a update how things are going every friday. The dev of Heart Problems gone radio silence for how long? 3 months or more? And that is why people ask for updates, not the UPDATE but updates on the development.
