Guys, why are you worrying? It hasn't even been a full year yet. After a year between updates has passed he'll come back with a status update with empty promises of the update being "almost finished and will be out soon™." That "life got in the way," that he's sorry but he's making some form of change to make sure the next updates come out quicker. Then another half year will go by and the update may or may not be released then after second round of months of radio silence. It will probably be a full two years between updates this time too cause he doesn't have the same monetary incentive since Patreon booted him. (Of course one would think that it would be wiser to double down on communication to rebuild his supporter base, but we all know he's not gonna do that. Lol. He'd have to post once every few months to the people who pay out of pocket to support him... *gasp* What an unthinkable amount of commitment!)
I'd say if you don't hear anything by Christmas start to get worried then. The abandoned tag will stay throughout most of this update.
Oh, and though I've said all of that let me preface it with this. Don't get your hopes up. Xenorav is a flake. He's a talented flake and this VN loss would be missed, but place no hope in that man getting his shit together. This VN could've been great and made him a shit ton of money after he got lucky enough to gain early support. But it was squandered by his lack of transparency... And then Patreon blew out all of the passive supporters who forgot to check their monthly subscriptions... More people who might've transferred to subscribestar if they really believed in him. Anyway, if it fails he has no to blame but himself. It sucks, but there are other VNs.

I walk around the empty streets trying to think about anything but heart problems but my path always leads me to f95 news page. I stare at the screen for hours smashing f5 i look at other games but it no good, they all suck, i blame janitors for deleting my posts but in the end i always play the old version thinking what is to come.

stop the milker talking. it is not about the money. you never paid a cent to them. what are you complaining about? beside, how much do you think they made? 600$ a year? is that milking? stop it.
that was a good game. but it is possible that he got berried! what i have seen, in the passed 2 years, the amount of Abandoned games have been gone trough the sky! i think the games started as cov19 made the gaming boom, but then most of them got other jobs and left.
in my opinion, if you want to start a game to make money, never do it. it is way better this way than waste so much of peoples interest and time. why do you do that? it is cruel to play with others mined. if you want to make a game, do it for yourself and make sure you can finish it.

Seems like a case of having to move from Patreon to SubscribeStar because of incest or underage because of the younger cousin roommate and it ended up killing the game.
Hard to keep doing it when it barely makes any money and you have a fulltime job already. Unless you're a complete hermit I guess... then I suppose you wouldn't mind spending all your free time on it after work lol.

Shame... another bites the dust. Just came to see how the next update was progressing. This one was one of the best on this site. Hopefully they come back but it seems abandoned high quality games are becoming the norm as of late.
