This is just ridiculous. After the last update, he didn't say he was in trouble again. He's just the kind of person who has a habit of disappearing. Prison has nothing to do with it.
What? No way, hes in damn trouble. He came back to his "normal" job and his Patreon account got down, losing all his income from Heart Problems

but after he said he will never abandone the game
No need to discuss this if you ask me. Many already stated that he has ALWAYS been like that, even with the income of his patreon account. Trust me, at one random day he'll drop the update (whatever content it might be in the end), be active for several weeks, disappear and the cycle begins again. That's just how he is. For him it's normal to "promise" people weekly devlogs and break this promise a month later by going radio silent. I've accepted that and sometimes not getting ANY information at all is better than those tiring weekly devlogs of AVNs where you already know "It'll take ages for this update to arrive". Yes there is always the fear that it REALLY gets abandoned at some point but atm I'm confident that there will be a shadow drop of an update within the next 3 months or so.

I think he does have a stable job. He's had many opportunities to quit the game, but each time he comes back and improves his content creation skills.
And he's written a few development posts since the patreon was deleted.
I don't know how soon, but he'll be back.
For me, the lifeline while I wait is that I play other games too, so I'm more relaxed about it.

Im relaxed too, was just pointing out. Well, maybe not so much, because his demise is never impossible, but what is happening now happened before, so yeah, I get you

That's too bad. I was hoping it was just money problems that could be fixed, but without any contact with Xenorav, there's no chance to try finishing the game.
I don't think it is a money problem as he/she paused payments multiple times and never once complained about not having enough money like some developers do. He/she even said right before the Patreon collapse and on the update before that he/she quit is IRL job to focus more on Heart Problems.

I remember him saying that he had gone back to work.

I have some questions about the game:
1) Will it go on with development 2) Will Amely divorce from her husband? 3) Will the MC finally come into play (you know)? I still have questions that was for the time being.

Well how devs don't know at this point that going through Patreon is the Faustian pact is beyond me. Ever since the Big Brother debacle years ago. Come on. You know you're going to get rug pulled. In any case, he was still slow as fuck on updates and 9 was a huge blue ball letdown. No sympathy. Maybe he'll appreciate what he had and the pay piggies he was milking now that he has to go back to work.
