I think he does this because he wants to ensure we'll be getting the best Amelie sex scene possible. I'm pretty confident he won't fuck it up. Even though I also have no idea what exactly he wants to improve since it's kinda perfect. We'll see!
He wants their sex scene to be like a full-fledged mini-movie, 30-40 minutes long, and take up almost the entire chapter. ;)

DAZ and Renpy have native animation engines. Xenorav has clearly "maxed out" the use of those engines by increasing the number of inbetween frames, and compositing those frames to balance the focus of the art and dialogue. Think of all of the other games that have smoother and better animations. They have all moved away from the native animation engines of the above art and gameplay development software ones.

Does Xenorav want to be a better artist in the digital and the upcomming AI art age? If so, they need to streamline their workflow. Animatioin engines like Blender can help with that. With those engines, Xenorav can place the animation heavy lifting on Blender, alleviating the need for them to handcraft every single inbetween frame.

I'm sure that many of you have noticed some of the AI generated animations produced using a small series of shots from this game or the assets used to produce it. They're great, but they still have a long way to go before they can mimic the human eye.

With Blender, Xenorav can get the same or better animations after they complete the learning process. We won't need to wait an entire year for an update because Xenorav can only work on it during their free time. They will be able to migrate the individual rendered scenes over to Blender, press animate, and then leave for work/sleep. When they return/wake-up, they review the finished product and incorporate the animation loop into renpy.

Rinse and repeat, within two years or so Xenorav could have the total development time of a Heart Problems chapter from one year down to three or six months.

Hey everyone, sorry again for the delay! I had to take care of some things at home.
I’ve also been spending some time learning Blender, it’s such an amazing but complex software, and I’m still trying to get the hang of it. Hopefully I’ll start feeling more comfortable with it soon.
Overall, everything’s going really well. I don’t feel like my workload has gotten heavier, and I’m still managing to stay comfortable, which is the most important thing for me, avoiding burnout from balancing work, personal life, and this little secret hobby of mine.
This Friday I’ll try to put out another update report since I want to make up for last week, when I couldn’t get as much done.
Thanks for another month of support, I really apreciate it! :)
