VN - Ren'Py - Heart Problems [Christmas Special] [Xenorav]

Giving Heart Problems v0.10 a 2.0 score. It could have been great, but ends up highly disappointing for the reasons I'll detail below. A post-game update for all 10 chapters follows at the bottom.

Pros:

+ Good models and renders
+ Good environments
+ Has non-intrusive music
+ Personalities are colorful


Cons: there are two that kill the entire game here..

1) It's nothing but a huge teasing & blue-balling simulator. ~12+ hours in and the only thing the MC has had sex with is an overweight MILF. Over, and over, and over again - the game teases without actually getting anything from anyone. Kissing, rubbing, and the MC giving bits of pleasure to different women without ANY of them returning the pleasure. It's seriously fucked up, and not fun to play at all.

2) The MC went down on his more mature sister, giving her the best orgasm of her life, and they were about to actually have sex (yes, they both wanted it). She ended up telling him no, kicking him out of her room, and blue-balling him without giving him any relief whatsoever. Not a handjob, not a blowjob... nothing. It forced him to have to finish himself in his own room.

It's this kind of crap that ruins AVNs unless you're a huge masochist who gets off on women telling you what to do and when to do it. I'm at the point now that if the game doesn't give me the option to literally torture the sister that blue-balled the MC, I'm simply going to exit out, and uninstall it. She doesn't deserve squat anymore, not after what the dev had her do.

tldr; enough teasing and blue-balling in this one to kill a fully grown bull. 2.0 as a result - only play if you're a masochist.

Update:
Finished all 10 chapters (I sucked it up and pushed past the endless teasing). The game got better after chapter 5 or 6 when LIs started actually pleasing the MC for a change. Around chapter 8 or 9 it felt more like a regular AVN, though some LIs (like the MC's step-mother) still wouldn't give in, despite having relations 15 or more times. Nudging the final score up to 2.0 as a result.

It's unfortunate the author had to use teasing and blue-balling so much and for so long in the first half+ of the game, as I can see that really driving a lot of people away. As a side-note: use a walkthrough/cheat mod to push love/lust up unnaturally - playing it without one can cause a lot of scenes to be skipped.

The game’s okay, but why’s there gotta be a little kid in it who’s definitely not 18? Gross af and weird. It would’ve been way better with just the woman and the milf. No need to add creepy, weird stuff like that. Can’t support anything involving minors in that way.

One of the best. I keep searching for similar games but, sadly, I don't find many... I love the relationships that slowly develop and the characters' personalities. The story is also quite well written. In short, I recommend it!

Well, renders are good and there's some kind of story deep down somewhere but that's all the good things you can say about this game.
The main bad thing - relationships are forced. It doesn't matter if you like your (MC's) aunt or not - she's LI and no one cares about your opinion. Even if you choose every time that you want to have nothing with your aunt (literally, I always chose the worst choice) you're still ends with her as LI. Your two cousins too but I never tested them, they're actually looks (and behaves) nice and I like them as LIs. But it doesn't matter too. Everything isn't matter here but dev's opinion. Whether is this or that girl is your LI or whereever you (MC) want to cum - dev chooses everywhere. So that's not VN, that's kinetic novel. 'Cause there's no real choices here, dev tells us a story ans everything else doesn't matter.

I'm not going to waste your time. If you want to play a game where you kiss and grind on pretty girls with decent sex animations, then play it and have fun. And stop reading this review.

For the people who care about everything else an AVN is supposed to offer, I'll try to keep this short.

I've played up to Chapter 7 and read the last 60 reviews on this game, trying see what everyone else was seeing, but ultimately, that was pointless. I was gonna write a detailed, much longer review discussing the importance AVNs offering good graphics, writing, and narrative flow, working together in harmony. But at the risk of sounding like a "f95 redditor", whatever the fuck that means, I found that pointless too. So, here we go.


I could not immerse myself in the world, the MC, or with the Love Interests because the game's writing just actively pushed me away or never afforded me the opportunity. Originally, I was just going to uninstall after a few minutes and move on without a review at all, marking this down as another game not for me. But with a 4+ star rating and 300+ reviews? I just couldn't let this go. Reviews like "Animations are great! Everything else sucks tho [5/5]" are just not okay... As I played this game, two words kept popping into my head: "Shallow" and "Incoherent". I think those describe it best.

In terms of Animation quality this is the highest quality ever created for a VN. It literally sets the bar. Think your favorite Twitter artist that makes really high quality blender stuff, that is this games animation. And there are A LOT of them. The models are superb, all extremely sexy. The milf especially, for me.

The story won't win any awards, it's very basic. But it's what I prefer and find sexy.

You'll probably see a lot of the reviews on here that are 1-3 stars talking about the story. I like to call them f95 redditors. Get something amazing, and they will only talk about the flaws to the millionth power.

If you are looking for a classic IC story VN with 2025 quality, this is as good as it gets.

What a good game the milf is so hot it reminds me of a game "a mother's love", her teasing and saying no to have sex is so hot yet still she wants to is super hot and the thighjob are insane with insane jiggle physics and all, dev please don't adandon this absolute masterpiece you are doing really good job at it.

On the top. But updates takes long. The character are well built the milf is one of the finest. Currently my favourite. The quality is best. Only issue dev ghosts for months and no development update. The game checks your patience. Till V10 no penetration with the milf.

I played an early version two years ago, and the heroine's appearance back then was incredibly original and impressive. What's also commendable is the significant improvement in animation and background detail.

I have to admit, as an Asian, I really like the author's aesthetic for clothing and body proportions; the overall look is natural and realistic, and incredibly soft and beautiful, something most similar games can't surpass. I'm certain the author's abilities can definitely surpass "FreshWomen," all they need is funding and support. I'm very much looking forward to future updates!!!

BTW, although the relationship names can be changed freely in the text dialogue settings, the preset dialogue method still makes it obvious that they are uncle and aunt.

This is a pretty good game, specially until about chapter 7, then it loses some points. The reason for this has to do mainly with the story, up to that point its been doing a well-developed build up and it has a few plates spinning with interest. But from that point on a lot of it has already been done, and it quickly turns into a fuckfest without much else going to keep the story interesting, so I started skipping through and reading here and there. Choices didn't matter much up until then, but they literally dissapear from chapter 7 onwards, turning this into a kinetic novel. Characters are decently developed, even if Stephanie is quite unrealistic and over-the-top, and writing is decent as well.

Render quality is pretty high, and character models are great and diverse. Animations are on the basic and shorter side, but there's a lot of them, so they end up making pretty good sex scenes with a lot of kissing (which is something I particularly enjoy). Too much POV for my taste though, but there's enough 3rd person to make up for it. Sounds are scarce, I turned off the music so can't comment on that, and I found no bugs on my playthrough.

So, all in all, a pretty solid and good game. Very enjoyable and with a lot of content.

7 chapters in, I need to ventilate about the elephant in the room , and it is not the alien size boobs and butts that seem spreading like the flu in the AVN world. No it is the cringy feeling i get , EVERYTIME the MC is forcing himself onto the MILF character ! PLEASE !!! how many time do you need a 'NO' ? Scene after scene , chapter after chapter she is not confortable with the gropyness of the MC, and still EVERY scene ends up with tongue kisses and getting groped untill, she says 'NO WE CANNOT DO THIS ' I get that it is an evolution in the plot line. BUT more than 5 chapters long ???? This is just 3 bridges too far after restraining order city . F$*%. Another point that makes me -at least me- feel like a enormous twat , is the fact that every scene in which the MC declares 'I love you' is immediately followed up with him smooching another housemate. It just leaves you feeling like numbing and cheating adventure. If you want any respect left for the character you are playing at least let some of the characters know that they should not be feeling that special, cuz you're humping around like a blueballed grasshopper with his last day of pussy on this earth. The girls are loveable, likeable well written. The MC is just a Dick imo.

About the story ... I don't even need to care that much, just closest thing come to "Alabama". And you know what - a good porn game should do porn best, everything else is just secondary. Bad porn - good story still a bad porn game.
I usually go to the game, play for 30 mins, feel a bit story and then when "that" happen, I do my thing, call it a day and go to sleep. Do it for days and eventually the game finally end, feel good every time.

It's one of my favorites. Kudos to the game dev. I like the teasing and the story between the protagonist and the ladies. The MILF model is great, and I enjoyed the petite Stephanie even more than her older sibling. The interactions, edging, and story continuity between shy aunt/mom figure Amelie and the curious, naive, petite sister/cousin Stephanie resonated with me. It was great. Especially, the last 0.10 update was amazing. It was totally worth the wait after a long silence from the creator. In the last update, you can see glimpses of AI image generation, but it was seamlessly blended with 3D scenes that stole the show for me. Also, love the camera angles for some of the intimacy scenes. Again, great work. Keep it up!

Since it is one of my favs, I give it another extra star for the appreciation of the craft.

One of the best games around here without any doubt.
Writing is good, the plot is great (well written characters) and the renders and animations are amazing good.
Patiently waiting for more updates to see how everything develops.

Simply the best incest game out there. No waste of time, well writen, amazing renders and no cringe. Impossible not to be obsessed with Amelie. 10/10 for me, even if updates take a long time. It's worth it.

A wonderful game you must play. Everything is excellent. The author is truly an excellent graphic designer. I hope the author can complete this masterpiece. Personally, I hope the game will have more explosive contents. For example, the scene where Davie's lover appears, is saved by the main character, etc., the competition between Amelia and her... That's just my personal opinion. Anyway, this work is already too excellent.

The first few chapters were pretty good, the teasing is hot. I was feeling okay with the game up until about chapter 5, but pretty quickly the game devolves into being a one trick pony with little payoff.

The story starts off okay enough but once the game settles into the same routine of recycled animations - how many thigh jobs and ass grabs can one game have? It gets pretty monotonous. The story (what little there is) goes from passable to non-existent. It's actually amusing playing through this game for the first time 5 years after its initial release. You can tell the Dev stretched out the chapter development. I'm sure the subscribers were very excited to see how much more skin they'd get to see with each chapter. But when you play it from start to finish for the first time you can see just how repetitive it becomes and it doesn't flow very well.

I'm a big fan of slow burn games, but this game just doesn't do it as well as other games. I found myself zoning out and clicking just to get to the next lewd scene. I actually think the game needs more LI's, it needs something to be more interesting than what it is.

If this is your first AVN you might be blown away by it, but there are other games with a similar concept that do it much better than this. 3/5 = Average is a fair score for this game. The 3 stars are for the initial chapters being intriguing, and the renders are decent. They become better in the later chapters.

Wish there were more like this where it actually takes a while for MC to convince them. Can't wait for more of it, the animations are awesome too. Keep up the great work. Hope there is pregnancy content in the future too.

With the caveat that I'm somewhere around ch. 7, so things could get better or worse from here, I'm bewildered by how highly rated this game is. I'd put it somewhere between 2.5-3.5 stars.

Some of the renders are quite good. The older cousin is particularly attractive, and the aunt looks great as well, as long as you aren't too fussy about realistic body physics. Parts of the story are enjoyable; after the first couple chapters, the older cousin and MC develop a dynamic I really enjoy. Parts of the storyline with the aunt are good as a slow burn, but it's already gone on too long, and it has the feeling of something that's going to drag out to the point of being annoying.

That's where the good ends. The younger cousin is supposely 18, but behaviorally and visually is quite a bit younger, which, given her constant non-consentual interactions with MC is not ideal. And those interactions with her aren't avoidable, so hope you have a very specific set of interests, because you're going to get a lot of it whether you like it or not. The MC is a spineless loser, except when his aunt says no, and then he's made of steel. He also has all of the finesse of a rampaging gorilla; every time MC touches an ass or a tit, he grabs it like he's trying to avoid falling. There's a time and place for being rough, but it's the only mode MC has, and I feel bad for his aunt. The writing is passable, definitely not as bad as some of the mangled slop that gets passed off as English on this site, but there are enough mixed gender pronouns (he instead of she, her's instead of his, etc) and general clumbsiness that it's unlikely to have originally been written in English.

Overall, it's a middling game, with renders that are occasionally above average, writing that is okay at best, and characters that are largely terrible.

Good game enjoyed a lot, great character designs, great story, enjoyable gameplay and more gooning of course. can't wait to see mc crack his non-au@t and story development haha for me it's 10/10  recommended100%
