It could be the incest content, but personally I think it's the thinly veiled pedophilia. Honestly, the Stephanie stuff makes my stomach want to turn. Plenty of folk in this forum ought to be on a watchlist, for real. He should have made that bit of the story optional, if including it at all. Put less focus on her, and more on Mia.
It is optional... I've been saying it for years, and have no clue how to this day so many people still get this wrong, specially after the discussions around the last update. I don't know what's going on here, but all you have to do is say no to her shit. It is not difficult.
I think her content is optional - there's a choice early on whether to pursue her or not.
Thing about her has always been the writing - her body is just a 20 something petite. But he writes her like she's in fucking kindergarten which makes me wonder if Xeno is actually just a bad writer or has ... other tendencies. I think it's the former and he just does not know how to write young adults/teens
Oh please, lets not kid ourselves here, Xenorav knows exactly what he's doing with Stephanie. Kaylee should be in her early or mid 20s, there's no way Xenorav genuinely thinks a 18 yo would behave like that. And as for the "20 something petite", you could say that, as long as you completely disregard genetic dispositions, given we've seen her mother and a sister around that age, who are overgrown, if anything.
So whatever anyone wants to make of fictional characters in their own headcannon is of no concern to me, but lets not pretend the dev is stupid. I'd rather call a spade a spade.
