Overview:
Hearts in the Shadows is a psychological visual novel for adults that delves into the complexity of the human mind, emotional bonds shaped by trauma, and the fine line between the desire to protect and the need to control. Through a deep and emotionally intense narrative, the player takes on the role of Trevor (name can be changed), a final-year psychology student whose calm demeanor hides a dark past. This past is what drives him to train his mind meticulously to observe, analyze, and manipulate. Set in a university environment filled with broken relationships, secrets, and young adults battling their own inner demons, Trevor will not only study human behavior. He will put it to the test. Each character he meets carries their own pain, wounds, and emotional void. And Trevor, driven by his obsession with control, will try to fill them in his own way. What begins as a story of companionship and emotional connection may evolve into disturbing dynamics, where the player must question their own choices. Will you bring their hearts out of the shadows, or will you sink with them?​

Hi everyone, Scavenger here.
First of all, I want to thank the Uploaders team for giving me the opportunity to present my project and for helping me compress the build.
Also, a big thank you to the community for welcoming the project so warmly!

Regarding some of the questions I've seen about the tags:

- The game is not canonically incest. You live with your housemates and landlords.

- About the planned tags: regarding the impregnation topic... I have no problem with that fetish. It’s not necessarily my personal favorite, but I'm not closed to the idea either. For now, let's say I’m open to the possibility of potential endings involving pregnancies (since each main girl has her own planned ending).

- About the harem: yes, Trevor will be able to be with all the main girls. However, it won’t be an open relationship where everyone's with everyone — it’ll be more like Trevor having a personal harem of his own. There might also be some threesomes or foursomes between characters who are close to each other (and Trevor, of course).

I love that you're trying to create a true harem rather than a polyamorous relationship in the game. And I also love the fact you're open to have pregnancy ending for individual li ending but why not in the harem ending as well? I and many others like me will love to have a harem preggo ending in a game. It resembles like a "happily ever after" to me.

Thank you very much for your words. Believe me, those kinds of comments are what motivate us indie devs to constantly improve our projects—even negative comments, as they help us see our mistakes. And yes, you're right, I'm open to the possibility of a harem ending with all of them pregnant. Many things will be optional, since I'm aware that not everyone shares the same fetishes, so I'm open to reading suggestions and corrections.
